Very well located! We were disappointed to discover on Sunday the option to order from the menu was not available at breakfast, unlike the rest of the week - however the breakfast is good! The room was spacious although old fashioned. Overall good stay!

Good Location, good rooms the bed was very comfortable with a good shower but what let it down was the cleanliness in the room

An ideal location to explore Manchester. On the canal side so close to Manchesters industrial history too. Room huge. Bed comfortable , all amenities. The bar was a pleasant place to seat. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Car park limited but NCP nearby but pricey

Great location as we were seeing a show at the Opera House, the room was a good size and staff very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection.

The hotel looks old and is sandwiched between a group of high-rise buildings. The room has a low ceiling, and a person with a height of 1.8 meters will feel depressed. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows cannot be opened for ventilation, resulting in poor air inside. At the same time, the hotel parking lot is very small, with more than a dozen cars. If you go late, there will be no parking spaces, and you have to park in the NCP public parking lot, which is six or seven minutes away on foot. The Hong Kong waitresses in the restaurant and the front desk receptionist left a good impression. The soft service is pretty good.

The room is average in size and the room is dark overall. The parking lot at the entrance of the hotel is very small. If it is full, you have to go to the surrounding parking lot to park, which is very inconvenient. The hotel breakfast is OK

The hotel is in the center of Manchester, parking is 20 pounds a night, the facilities and scenery are quite expensive!

A hotel with a sense of history, it looks like a Victorian building from the name. The interior decoration style is also very distinctive, retaining brick walls and wooden roofs, and reinforcing them with steel structures. Looking at the cars in the yard, you can tell that the quality of the residents is not low. There are no restaurants or supermarkets around, but there are two Sainsbury’s within a ten-minute walk, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to the city center where there are many restaurants and bars, which is very convenient.

The room is not bad, but the service attitude is too bad. The check-in efficiency at the front desk is too low. The check-in process takes half an hour. There is a vacant room next door, but the room is not placed on the same floor. Later I heard that tipping is required.

The hotel front desk said breakfast was 15p, but the actual charge was 20p
