The hotel is OK, the room is a bit small, the breakfast is delicious, and it is very close to the Etihad Stadium, which is only a 20-minute walk away. It is a bit remote to the train station and not easy to walk. If you go to watch a football game, you can stay here.

On the first morning waking up at Leonardo Hotel, I was tidying up the bed and noticed blood stains from the previous guests which were really obvious for the cleaners to see but they obviously avoided it and only covered it with new duvet covers for the next guests which was very unfortunate for me and my partner. Due to their unhygienic bedsheets, I woke up to spots all over my body. On top up that, the toilet flush was not working. There were hair strands and dust in every corner of my mums room. Last but not least, this hotel does not have room service… I kid you not, we called the room service requesting for bottles of water to be brought to our room and was told that we need to come downstairs to collect it ourselves from the bar. Worse hotel experience. Do not be fooled by the photos, I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Extremely disappointed.
