It is the second time I have stayed and just like the first time Amjad and his team were so welcoming and even remembered me from the month prior! Room was superb and all staff were accommodating. Mohammad and the night team were were brilliant when coming back in the early hours. Thank you all! All staff are dress so smartly and very professional while creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

For the most part, the hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful as my keycards stopped working twice but it was resolved pretty quick. The lifts worked fine and were decently fast, especially since I was on the sixth floor. The security guard was lovely too. Onto the room, the main bathroom light took about 30 seconds to a minute to turn on. That isn't too bad, but it was just kind of irritating at times. As well as that, the shower was dripping during the entire stay no matter what we did. The sixth floor is supposed to be a quiet floor, but there was a lot of noise coming from both inside and outside the hotel which was sometimes disruptive. There were workers around too, which wasn't too bad, but they started working early and you could definitely hear them. As well as this, there was a fire alarm test with no prior notice. The wifi was pretty hard to use on my phone - I had to manually type in the connection site each time. It was the same on my laptop, but I had to go into the settings and get the site each time to connect. In general the stay wasn't so bad and the location was decent, the main issues were the noises and shower, but everything else was good. I would recommend for a budget hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine for the most part, but just be wary of the surroundings.

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

Location and value for money are the reason we booked, plus that fact we spent most of the time out of the room. shower room is a good size, though the heat of the water does not need to exceed 40, for the sake of the environment. We had a basement room, bigger that other rooms apparently. yet gap between the end of the bed and the wall is tiny need to walk sideways to spend a penny at night. staff at reception knowledgeable of the surroundings.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely comfy bed but pillows need replacing as falling apart There was no hairdryer in our room but this was quickly rectified once we asked for one, We had a lovely chilled stay in our room but would not recommend the in house restaurant. I have left a separate review of that..👎 Reception and cleaning staff who we met around the hotel were super friendly. We were on floor 5 and it was so peaceful. If I hadn’t heard a shower (very quiet) next door I would have thought we were the only ones on that floor. Hotel is just a short walk from everywhere so in a good position… Only criticism is the hotel is so hot and I mean hot. You melt at reception when you check in. Also we couldn’t get the air con to work in our room so it was. Constantly 19 degrees

Very new hotel rooms. Massive space. We had kids so plenty rooms for them and the baby cot. Seperate toilet and bathroom which I will say is great design for more than 1 person using the room. Seperate tea making area, looks delicate for takeaway preparation with a sink as well, which is bonus for if anyone didn't like to use the sink in the toilet for make tea or wash cutlery. It will be better to have a little fridge, as proper tea drinker would like to have fresh milk.
My kids and hubby had breakfast, which is reasonable price £10 per person, they rate it easy 7/10, coffee let the breakfast down. On site parking also very good value £14per night. Location is excellent, very near to piccadillly train station, walking distance to Central Manchester. Special mention, excellent staffs! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Genuinely nice, saw my husband taking 3 kids to breakfast, offer helps and make sure he and the kids alright. Hightly recommended!
By travelling out of the city a little, we're able to bring you all the mod cons with none of the excessive, costly extras that you don't need. But don't worry, you won't be out on a limb: there are ample and regular transport links directly into the city (Salford Quays metro stop is a mere four-minute walk from our door), so that you can enjoy the best of Manchester's vibrant city centre at prices that suit your pocket.

Spent one night here as I was travelling to a match in Old Trafford. The stadium is only 10 minute walk away. I requested a quiet room as I had my young son with me. I must say that they certainly did accommodate me. The room was clean and very small. The bed was very comfortable. One tip, if you want to charge your phone and use it while lying in bed, bring an extra long phone charger cable, as the only socket in the room is under the TV, which is in the corner of the room Its a maybe, that I will stay again. I got it for a great price. Overall, happy with stay. It is the basic of basic hotels! Heard from other that the tram can be loud, but I never heard it. Gregs shop next door in petrol station was handy.

Stayed here a while back whilst on a business trip. The room was huge and I was so impressed with the bed and linen I emailed them when I got home to find out the make. Great bathroom and the little touches like the sweets in the fridge were fab. Ate in the restaurant and quality and portions were great. Staff throughout the hotel were a credit. Will look forward to another stay

Stayed here with my partner as we had plans to go into Manchester, this is located really well with a couple pubs close by and the train station within walking distance.
It wasn't a bad stay, staff were lovely and room was tidy with fresh bedding and facilities to make a tea/coffee.
It was a little noisey with people banging and walking back and forward from the bathroom as you could hear everything from our room as it was located next to the shared bathroom.
Breakfast too there was plenty of choice but could use some extra pans or somewhere to wash up.
Great for travellers or people on a budget.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Britannia Bolton hotel having read reviews I was not looking forward to our stay but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, reception and corridors all spotless and the room we received was clean, comfortable and bathroom looked like it had just been upgraded, the staff were all pleasant and looked after you very well. Our morning started with a lovely breakfast good selection of cooked items as well as cereal's, toast etc not a large choice for evening meal but the price you pay couldn't complain.

Outstanding
MM Ramzan pThe time period I was staying at this hotel they had swimming championships. Which around 6 to 10 countries were also staying at the same hotel. Upon arrival they told me breakfast would end at 10:30am. Went to have breakfast at 9:30am and saw all the breakfast had been changed ( I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times so I knew what the breakfast would consist of ) they had made it all specific to the athletes, All healthy options. They said if you want anything we can bring it to you. Which I said great no a problem. So ordered the full British breakfast which is tasty as always. But by the time they brought it out it was around 10:00am ( once again not a problem ). But they started to pack away the food at 10:00am. Not the 10:30am they said it would end. This buffet breakfast. So you would like to order a couple of times but how can you when they clear all the food at 10:00am and it takes you 30 minutes to bring out the food you ordered. They would clear it up early so they could getting cooking again for the athletes lunch which was at 12 till 3. It would be great if the hotel would consider other guests staying there. Very disappointed. But room was clean and modern as always.
GGuest UserWhat a fantastic wee hotel the Brooklyn is! We stayed here on the night of the 19th of June for one night before heading off abroad the next day. Great location and a very quirky little hotel far exceeding expectations and better than some of these corporate giants, loved it! Staff were all exceptional to us, friendly and professional always. Bar staff on that evening get a special mention as they were brilliant. Cocktails were out of this world, as stated by Cocktail Queen herself who I was travelling with. Loved the terrace style seating near the bar, never seen that before! Rooms were awesome, bathroom fantastic and I did have a good chuckle at the fact that you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom through a one-way glass panel, hilarious! Everything smelt so wonderfully clean in the building too and I could not fault this place at all! A wonderful stay and a big thanks to all the staff that were on that evening and the next day, you should all be exceptionally proud of yourselves!
GGuest UserPros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching
MMei YueThe hotel is very near to Oxford Road train station, just a few minutes walk, and have a direct line to Manchester Airport. The hotel is located at the city CENTRE, with China town, Art Gallery, large shopping malls within several minutes walking distance. Besides, Holiday Inn Express hotel always provides breakfast with sufficient variety of food and drinks to choose from. It also hot drinks throughout the day. But, there are two Holiday Inn Express hotels in the city CENTRE. So, make sure to key in Oxford Road in searching the routes to hotel in using Google Map.
GGuest UserGreat airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isn’t really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is £10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.
GGuest UserWe arrived earlier than checking due to having spa treatments booked as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and left our bags at the reception. 3pm we got to our room and got ready to go out for evening. We left the hotel at 5pm and informed reception the thermostat was showing a fault code and we couldn't increase the temperature. Reception said Maintance would sort it. 7 hours later we returned to a room we couldn't increase the temperature to as no one had fixed it. It's a clean nice hotel and great location for concerts but for the price we paid I wouldn't be staying here again.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great
GGuest UserI'm really happy that I decided to book a stay at this hotel. Its central location in Manchester city is perfect for exploring all the attractions on foot. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. However, the only downside was the lack of wifi in the rooms, which meant I had to go to the common area to get online.
GGuest UserWe only paid £42 for our room as we wanted to be close to the airport …. Used Twilight check in so checked our cases in today and fly in the morning. Room absolutely fine, bar area nice, prices bloody great for a hotel in Manchester especially if you get here for happy hour between 5pm and 7pm … I think it’s Sunday to Thurs. The reason I am writing this review is because of a friendly, very helpful black chap named Michael, he’s awesome! I offered to buy him a drink as we were leaving as I had no cash … he said he couldn’t …. I was gutted, he deserved it!!
PPaulWe stayed at this hotel as going to see the eagles in co op arena , it’s a great location for city centre, close to all tram stations, check in was great we were allowed to check in early , very helpful staff , great breakfast in the morning , we will definitely stay here again when we go to another concert.
