Hotels Near Reduit viewpoint in Mauritius

I took my mother on a vacation of a lifetime in May, and after several days of travel from the western US, we finally arrived at the Sands. We were picked up from the airport and the driver was very nice and got us to the hotel, and once we walked in, we were blown away. The reception area was beautiful and the views spectacular. We were shown our room and it was spacious, and clean with great views out the balcony. As we put our items away a gentleman came to give us a Covid screening. (we laughed because he was wearing a lab coat...) We relaxed by the pool, or played in the water and the staff was always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good, but some things were better than others. It was fun to try new dishes that are not part of the cuisine at home. On our first evening my mother wanted wine, and Rahja was very helpful and found her one. From that evening onward, he came to talk to her each meal and made her feel like the most valued visitor there. They laughed and joked a lot. He found her a few more bottles during our stay as well! He was by far her favorite staff member. Soudesh was of great assistance to us, booking off site adventures for us, and arranging transportation. He also asked the kitchen to make me some of their banana jam to take home, as I loved it so much. We used the spa as well, and my mother got the best massage, and mine was only mediocre. The beach at the Sands is also the best along that shoreline, so it's much easier to walk on than further down as it bites into your feet a bit. What made the Sands so nice is how warm and caring the staff was. They felt like family and they seemed to really care about you and really wishing you to have a great vacation. We stayed on the opposite shore after a trip to Reunion Island, and missed that, and wished we were back at the Sands. If I am able to return to Mauritius, I would definitely pick the Sands for my stay!

Extremely beautiful views and such a nice place to have lunch with friends, under the tree, with the birds singing and the waves crashing on the white sandy beach We had a warm welcome at the reception and Varun at the restaurant was the most pleasant, accommodating and provided us with prompt service. If you are looking for a casual place to have lunch, with an incredible view, this is definetely a place to visit La Mariposa is a true little gem

Free parking and gate security are in place like all hotels in Maodao. We were just in time for the hurricane. We couldn't go to sea in rainy days. The hotel also had a lot of entertainment facilities. Table tennis, football, sand, volleyball, and pool. The WIFI signal in the room is very weak, only the balcony signal is very strong. I wonder if the facility was affected by the hurricane. The beach is downstairs, but the WIFI signal is very strong. There are many schools of fish not far from snorkeling, and basic water sports facilities are free of charge. The staff is very friendly, the environment in the yard is beautiful and quiet, it is much better than the salt selection we stayed behind, it is worth recommending ~

Originally, I arrived at Maoqiu at 3 in the afternoon, but the plane was delayed 7 hours due to the weather. I took a taxi to the hotel for about 50 minutes and only arrived at the hotel at 11 in the evening. The landlord and the guy in charge of the reception have been waiting. kind. The hotel is generally clean and quiet. Breakfast is not bad, dinner is charged, 175 local rupees, not very expensive. The place is far away from the city. The next day I was going to buy a phone card. I didn't know the road. The young man in charge of the reception was about to go to school, so he took me there and talked all the way. Responsible for cleaning. The aunts who cook are very good. I want to make Kung Fu tea, but there is no boiling water. They put me a few bottles of boiling water in a thermos bottle, and they will bring it to me every day. The laundry is also very fast. I went out at noon and asked them to wash the clothes. When I came back in the afternoon, I saw neatly folded clothes. They were also cheap. Unlike the next hotel, the laundry was available 24 hours a day, and the charges were all based on the piece. The landlord is also very good, sometimes he will call a car for me when I go out, and I will chat with him every day when I have time.

This time I stayed at the two hotels of Lishi Mona and Lishi Mei'an. The style is still quite different. The sand of Mona is yellowish and very slightly. The sand on the Mei'an is slightly whiter and thinner. Be careful. The walk is still acceptable; the rooms are larger and more modern; the sea view is better for Mount Mona. Sitting in the seaside is very eye-catching. After a day, the hotel is too lazy to move. If you are chasing dolphins, it is also near the Mount Mona. The pool and meals are not as good as the US shore.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. The southern hotel is very elegant, the room in the camphor is very comfortable, and the spacing between the villas is very wide and feels very good. The hotel environment is also good, breakfast is delicious. After three days of stay, the waiter sent chocolate every night. On the last day, knocking on the door knocked like an exaggeration. In the bathroom, I was scared to death. My husband was on the balcony. He didn’t hear it outside. I didn’t have it afterwards. Complaint, think about it. The overall stay of the hotel feels good. However, there are not many water projects, and the hotel may not have much activity.

During the Spring Festival, a family of 6 stayed for 5 nights and it felt great! Not willing to go! Breakfast is rich, you can also feed fish while eating (a beautiful sea fish that can only be seen by snorkeling), feed birds (see at least three kinds of birds), picturesque scenery, free experience golf, glass boat trip to and from deer during your stay Island, recreation room, elephant tortoise watching, bicycling, glass-bottom boat ride to and from the opposite bank ... I also accidentally found a lot of mango trees and Sakyamuni trees. The greening of the entire hotel is exquisite, and some live in oversized bonsai The feeling in the absolute paradise on earth!

The location is good, the hotel can provide free snorkeling service, you can also see a lot of fish snorkeling next to the hotel, the sea is very clear, great.

The front desk lady is very good! Super enthusiastic! English communication is smooth! The whole small hotel sparrow is small and complete. There is even a microwave in the room. Breakfast is inevitable outside, there are small flying insects flying next to it. There is no problem with bathing, but some of the bathroom is wooden floor, which feels a bit strange. At night, there are a lot of geckos on the outdoor walls hahahaha ～ The best thing about this small hotel is the location! A few steps behind the hotel is Blue Bay! And you can also go back to the hotel to take a shower after checking out, very intimate! Of course, come back early at night, if you come back from the road, it is quite scary to have no lights in the dark.
