Where do I start! Im not really one to write bad reviews but on this occasion I will (if it helps others not make the same mistake), such a bad experience! we booked 4 nights in this terrible hotel, after the first 24hours, I went out and booked another hotel for my family, paid out of my own pocket (that’s how bad this hotel was) The hotel is so dated! The chap at the reception has an attitude, he just seemed like he didn’t really want to be there, not helpful at all and just fobbed us off! sat there on his phone the whole time.. The rooms are dark, smelly, really cramped, the bathrooms were atrocious, the beds were so uncomfortable with a fury type duvet which im sure were not even washed as they smelt of sweat, the AC was so loud and blew out air! Dirty carpets. If you have members of the family who are in a wheelchair, this hotel is definitely not for you, the doors to the bathroom are no narrow you can’t get a wheelchair in, also if you have elderly parents, the beds will really cause back problems. Wifi does work either. You could stand at the lifts for ages before it actually comes to your level. Breakfast was an absolute no go, limited options (which is not a bad thing) however the options there weren’t good at all. One of the bellboys was more interested in a tip – he dropped our luggage off outside the rooms and then waited for a tip, he then said “if you help me with tips I will help you” with a cheap grin on his face! This hotel is more geared towards a certain demographic (if you know you know) its one of them where a large group in numbers take over. Only positive I can say is the Location is not too bad, about 2/3mins walk to the Haram, ladies side (but trust me there are more better options on the same side) Overall, I would definitely recommend against booking this hotel, it’s marketed as a 3 star – ive stayed at 3stars before and this is not 3 star! Its boarding on a no thrills, cheap and uncheerful hotel – if you are just willing to sleep somewhere then go ahead.
