Hotels with Bars in Melaka Tengah

I was given a non smoking room but when I entered, the whole room smelled of smoke. I asked for a change of room. They gave me another one. But this time, the room was alright but the bathroom smelled of smoke heavily. I was too tired to request for another change and decided to stick with it. After 2 rounds of shower, the smell dissipated. However, when I return at night to shower, this time the bathroom floor was complete clogged and water was overflowing during shower. Earlier on, it was alright. The next morning, the shower was fine again. I don’t think I want to stay here again.

PROs 1) Room considered as new and clean 2) Housekeeping team very responsive and quick too (kudos to them) 3) Food choices for breakfast were OK CONs 1) Location was too remote and far from any eateries. 2) View from room was just an eyesore especially the one facing to Metra Square 3) Parking space looked unclean and spooky It is a good hotel but for me I will not book again in the near future (sorry for the sincere comment)

Given room was at 10th floor. Found out most of the rooms at the same level are abandon. As a solo traveller on business trip i Requested to change the room, waiting for hours to get the room through whatsapp. End up, i didnt get my room. They should have put notice informing guest that the level under maintenance or should not offer that level for guest.

We booked 1 x two king bed suite room for our family. Upon check in, was informed by the check in staff that we need to pay additional MYR10 per room per night if we are not local and applicable for booking through a third party agent like trip.com. Trip.com only indicated an additional total of MYR$6, but we had to pay MYR60 as the room is a connecting room, not 1 suite room for 3 nights. We were not informed of this extra fee and likewise the staff mentioned that many guests were also unhappy about it. So pls be aware that there is additional tax charges. When we step into the room. It felt like the room has been vacant for ages. Layers of dust on the floor and table, room has a musty smell. However, it was really quiet so we had a restful sleep. The room was dated and balcony has glass shattering. Not much guests staying as most rooms were empty. It was still functional if you don’t mind the above. The breakfast restaurant is at the newer Noble Hotel just beside, food was ok but cold. Location is quite a walking distance to jonker st. about 15mins. With kids in a tow, taking grab is a better option. Personally i feel there are better options.

room was huge with two rooms two toilets and a living area. hotel breakfast spread at neighboring hatten hotel was great and full of variety.

4 days here. Location strategy and being near town. It is easy to find parking, even when I come back to the hotel early in the morning. The receptionists (guys) were very helpful. Housekeeping workers clean my room every day, and I am very satisfied with them. Good job! I just don’t try their foods, so I don’t know the taste here.

This hotel was ecatky what we were looking for. It was close to the attractions and amenities we sought to explore. It's on a quiet street away from the main street. Coffee shops, launderette, ATM and restaurants nearby. Our room, like the rest of the hotel was exceptionally clean. 24 hour front desk allowed us to check in shortly after midnight. Strong AC, finicky, wifi in the evenings, and plenty of hot water for showers with good water pressure. Free drinking water, iron and board available for guests and hairdryer. As a budget traveler and backpacker I can't complain. The staff were very polite and interactive. I don't recommend this place though for anyone with mobility issues as there is no elevator/lift and the stairs are fairly steep and tiring. Also as many backpackers if you're looking for a more social setting this wouldn't be ideal however if your looking for a quiet place to relax I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything evetystay room Customer service are superb. Room view superb Helpful respectful location all walking distance. Downside 1.we veterans and some adults and even kids have difficulties on pressing lift level button due to unclear lighting on the level number. 2. Beget and sink pipe water flow uneven and very small. Otherwise I'll give 6 star to the hotel HAT TEN UP

Location wise is tip top nearby jonker street, service is really good and attentive especially breakfast, it was ala carte and delicious. Hotel beautifully decorated with babanyonya style. Room are little outdated, old tv, no socket beside bed, small hair dryer, non sensitive door handle. With the price we paid we could get better quality of facilities tho, narrow gym & swimming pool. However, TQ to everyone in the hotel, they’re very friendly and accommodating
