Overall it was a lovely stay. However, on arrival our bathroom was quite dirty including a skid mark in the toilet bowl and it smelt damp. Went to pour a drink and one of the glasses had residue of the previous occupants drink still there. Staff were pleasant and efficient. As nice as the food was , it’s a little overpriced

We held our Golden Wedding Party for 50 guests. Everyone had an excellent time. The staff were most helpful and the food and wine delicious. We really appreciated the attention to detail provided by the staff and their help with our many dietary requirements.

From the planning to the delivery of our special event, Beechfield was brilliant. Rebecca helped us plan our party. We hosted 41 friends and family in the large dining room. We chose the hot buffet options for a more casual atmosphere and the food was amazing. It was absolutely delicious, varied and beautifully presented. There was more than enough for all of us. Grateful thanks to chef Chris who also made special dishes for people with allergies. We were looked after by Elaine who made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. She went over and beyond to get us all that we needed to make it a success. We were looked after really well by Daisy, Issy, Charlie and Nick who were all very warm and professional - which is a great combination. All of this ensured that our event was relaxed, fun and really joyful. Thank you to all involved. Several members of our party elected to stay the night and we enjoyed the lovely bedrooms at Beechfield. The breakfast was fabulous (the best scrambled eggs ever). | highly recommend Beechfield for events like ours. It really was amazing. Thank you so much. We’ll come back for the 90th !!!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing weekend stay. Our room was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and the hotel facilities were perfect. A beautiful outside swimming pool and grounds. Highly recommend!

We went for a short break to banish feelings of autumn gloom - and we're really glad we did. This is a good place to go: every aspect was a pleasant surprise. Lovely building, excellent customer service throughout and nice food. We used the outdoor pool each day and it was warm enough to be refreshing but comfortable, even at the tail end of October. We had a Classic room which had plenty of room and a nice view. We ate each night in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and a reasonable wine list. The staff were all friendly, approachable and helpful. We found no faults and had a thoroughly good time!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay here. This is a place where nothing is too much trouble and they look after you and the place immaculately, with everything thought of. Beautiful place, beautiful kind people

Beautiful property, and lovely comfortable clean room. The let down here is the customer experience. Hospitality is lacking, staff ignore you, make you feel like you are inconveniencing them.

The hotel is nice and the staff were attentive but the room was like sleeping in a sauna. Really hot we had to sleep with the window and curtains open. Other areas were ok but the room was unusually hot and unable to cool it.
