Cooperation and attitude of staff Storms closed the pools for the day. Totally get that. Out of there hands. But we asked for a 2 hr extension to our checkout to enjoy the pool for a few hours since it was the main reason of our stay here, and you would think I was asking for a free weeks stay with the attitude the “gentleman” at the front desk had. He was extremely rude and condescending. We got our time at the pool, not that the staff at the pool noticed Never were waited on once in 2 hrs, but the young girls couple chairs over were visited numerous times with ice cold water and other drinks When we had enough we tried to get back into the hotel, only to find out our key wouldn’t work. Walked around to find a door that didn’t require one went to our room to find it didn’t work there either. I went to the lobby desk to inform them we couldn’t get in our room and clerk responded with its past your checkout time. I told her I called down around 10, was transferred to to the front desk where a man answered and eventually granted an extended checkout. Clerk claimed there was no record of it and basically without saying it, called me a liar We were so impressed with this resort when we first arrived and had a wonderful meal at the Orange Sky restaurant and even talked about making this our place to for special occasions since we are new to the Phoenix area. It went downhill from there, and rapidly We won’t return. The last impression is a LASTING impression

Excellent clean and everything is update as i want to see. Keep it up and stay update more will come .. we will come back for sure!. I like room color and decoration as the bedspread has flowers prints. Towels, washcloths plenty Except didn’t have deaf handicap equipments

Staff was very friendly and always available. There was plenty of parking. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable.

The staff was very friendly the rooms were clean and they were very accommodating I was very fortunate to be able to be helped by Katie at the front desk she was very accommodating when I requested a room with a hot tub because previous night they were not available. And a bonus I was right next to the pool. Definitely will come back!

Usually I don't write reviews, but this experience as Hilton Diamond Reward member almost left me sleeping in the car. I was moved from Doubletree Hilton hotel due to water issues, on night 1of3 of my stay. Since Doubletree was not successful to secure another Hilton hotel for me, I was advised and proceeded to call Hilton hot line and get the hotel through Customer service line. Over 40 min on the phone and I was put in to Hilton Phoenix Chandler. As I was advised by Doubletree Manager, my rate would stay the same as I was to pay $160 per night and would be awarded points for my inconvenience. Customer service has discussed over my personal phone details with Doubletree Manager, before I left. Points were awarded right for my inconvenience. Hilton Chandler had my reservation ready and I was able to get in to the room close to 10pm. In the morning I noticed that an email came in that all my awarded points were used for 1st night at Hilton Chandler and also my CC is to be charged an additional $130 on top. Stop by at front desk around 7AM next morning and explained all the situation as mentioned above. Was told that the manager would come in and check all and get back to me. Back in the hotel around 4:30PM and noticed a VM left on the room number (not my personal phone, but a room phone) Called back to manager that left me a VM and she called right back. Manager of Hilton Phoenix Chandler advised me that room charge is to be $220 and they will not be matching Doubletree as was promised to me by Doubletree and Hot Line CR that booked this hotel. I asked manager to call in to Doubletree so we can discuss further and was advised that she is leaving in about 15min and that the rate is to be at $220 per night for next 2 night (was to be $160 as was Doubletree original rate) At that time I tried unsuccessfully reaching out to Doubletree manager. I told Hilton manager that I will not be paying $220 as that is not right and was basically told to vacate the room. I packed up and left Hilton Phoenix Chandler Hotel, manager did not even come out or already left by around 5:15PM as I was leaving the hotel. No apology or any words from front desk just a simple BYE BYE. This manager more concerned about her leaving on time, then taking care of basic duties as following up on hotel issues. As a Hilton Diamond Reward member with travels on weekly bases and spending 3-4nights a week in different hotels throughout US, this experience definitely sticks out and deserves a Negative review. Manager never reached out back or any other apology was given and will definitely is being reported to Hilton Hot Line for an investigation in to this issue. Lost Points Lost work hours Almost slept in the car. I ended up staying at Marriott for the next few night, which is just ok. We were here for a business meeting. Our room was nice, clean and had everything that we needed. The gardens are well kept and the area is easily walkable. The room had a fridge, safe and microwave. The bed was comfy and there was a nice leather chair and ottoman to use. My Only complaint would be that there was trash sitting in front of our room when we arrived (5:00 pm) and was still there until afternoon the next day. Each day there were sugar and creamer packets and coffee cup lids on the grounds in many places throughout the resort. We had a few receptions and the staff could not have been any more attentive. They did an amazing job serving drinks and food. They were on top of the cleanup also. Job well done. We did have a pre-order luncheon one day also. That meal did not seem as well executed. It took over 45 minutes to be served our meals. The resort has some restaurants across the street that were walkable. The mall and Old Town Scottsdale are nearby also.

Great place to stay at near ASU. Amazing rooftop bar that is amazing to watch the sunset. Will definitely stay there again next time we are is Phoenix.

The check in process was ok, although I believe the young lady who assisted me was fairly new to the job so the other gentleman working helped to answer a lot of my questions. They were busy since this was during spring break in the Chicagoland area, Spring Training was occurring and they are located right next to Sloan Park which would logically add to their occupancy. The standard check in time per their website is 4pm. I arrived very early, like 1030am, so I understood that my room was not yet ready since check out wasn’t until 12n. I was notified about 2pm that my room was ready and I was pleased it was ready a bit early until I walked in and took a look around. Sadly it was still dirty. The trash has been emptied and the bedding and towels appeared clean, but my remote control looked like someone blew their nose on it, the room was incredibly dusty, and their was a hairball in the shower. I pointed the remote and the dust out to the housekeeping staff. The supervisor was very apologetic about the condition of the remote control and even provided $40 in vouchers for Stats Grill when she returned with a new remote, but the room was still VERY dusty. Rather than add another “complaint” about the room to their list I decided to just use a wash rag to dust figuring the dusty wash rag would be seen when they came in to clean the room the following day, and dust isn’t nearly as gross as dried snot on a remote. The following morning I left the dusty wash rag on the table along with an empty tissue box I wanted to be sure was replaced with a full one and headed off to the Grand Canyon. When I returned 10 hours later and the room hasn’t been touched. On my way out to dinner I stopped at the front desk and asked what the cleaning schedule was for the rooms, only to find out they don’t enter guest rooms during their stay unless asked to do so. I found this odd considering the Las Vegas situation changed most hotel policies to require, at a minimum, daily inspections, even if it’s just a quick look in the room for safety, and this hotel is right next to Sloan Park which is a particularly high crowd location for about 2 months a year. Aside from finding it odd they didn’t do daily room checks I didn’t think anything more of it though since I travel so often and don’t necessarily need my room attended to daily. I asked them to drop off a box of tissues in my room, which they did, and I headed off to dinner and to watch a friend’s game. I had no other issues with the room the remaining 3 days of my stay…or so I thought. Thursday March 31st at around noon, I stopped at the front desk and asked about how they handle the check out process. They explained the process and that there was no need to do anything with them so I thanked them and made my way to the airport to return my rental car and head home. When I woke up the morning of Friday April 1st I found that I had been charged $250 for “guest damage” and that “damage” was for SMOKING in the room. Here’s
