I booked room, for my sister and me. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and amazing. I spent 10 days there, a week for a conference and 4 days to explore Mexico City. Loved it, highly recommend it, the place is in a very good location. A little thing about us, we are two Arab hijabi girls, so if you are a hijabi, don’t worry you won’t face racial discrimination against you.

The location is good, and the hotel overall is okay, mainly because it is more convenient and safe. But the hotel lobby, including the entrance, is very crowded, the facilities are relatively old, and the bath water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold

The Marriot Mexico City is a 20 year old hotel showing its age. The staff is not trained, they are courteous, kind, but have no sense of customer service. I called ahead to arrange for a personal trainer and they were unable to find anyone. The person who met me at airport was not standing in area designated on pickup instructions. The rooms are small, have original desks and chairs, all are looking aged and threadbare Bathrooms have combination tub shower with double shower curtain.

Belated review: top Marriott hotel experience! Everyone there provided excellent services! As a Marriott 'elite member,' upgraded to floor (beautiful room with view) just below top floor lounge, views of Mexico City, delicious food, snacks throughout the day. Wonderful sauna and health club. With Mexico City's terrible traffic, we found location to be very good.

Poor customer service, no member rewards recognition hence no upgrade was offered, noisy rooms, poor shower maintenance. Mini bar is locked and was told once in the room after checkin, that a deposit needed to be left in order to unlock it. No attention to detail.

This is a well located Marriott on Reforma Avenue. The rooms were well maintained, but a little dated, and in my room on the 10th floor there was little if any exterior noise. I had a couple of very good nights rest here. The staff were very proactive in assisting requests and the restaurants are good, especially La Mansion. Only downside is the hotel doesn't offer a laundry service on Sundays, which seems quite common in Mexico, but is a little frustrating when you are moving around a lot. there are lots of nice little restaurants within walking distance

The photos on Marriott’s site don’t do this property any favors. Yes, the design is a bit darker than the traditional grays you are seeing at other Marriotts, but it still felt up-to-date and it felt traditionally Mexican. Hotel was clean, felt fresh, solid amenities, good customer service, and had a nice layout. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this property over any of the other Marriott properties should I return to CDMX. If you are M-Lounge eligible you’ll have access to the amazing rooftop lounge which services breakfast until 10 and drinks/appetizers starting at 5 pm (even on weekends).

Place is clean and like a standard Marriott with normal amenities and fine breakfast. Good for business or solo traveler. Near main sites but not in optimal area, Ubers though are fast and easy and safe. Overall decent option

This is a very renowned hotel, with a great service and attention from all personnel. It’s a great option both for business or family stay. The food is really high quality in the different restaurants and the catering for business sessions. It really lives up to fulfill the expectations.

I was on a business trip in Mexico city at the end of September-early October. Upon my arrival to this hotel, during the check in process, a receptionist mistakenly charged more than requested from my bank account. I was told that it was for blocking purposes. But the amount was still several times more than they needed for extra services. They told me I did not need to worry and that money would be reimbursed after a few days. It is almost December now. No refund was made. I lost several hundred dollars because of the mistake of a hotel employee. At first, they were nice and politely responded to my emails. Now they ignore my requests. I do not suggest anyone to choose this hotel.

I was very impressed by the level of service offered at the Marriott reforma. The housekeepers, bellman, concierge, executive lounge staff and room service. Everyone was friendly, called you by name and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is close to everything- street vendors, restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and quiet.
