Although we arrived a few hours before check-in due to a train reservation, they looked after our luggage and kindly introduced us to nearby sightseeing spots and affiliated cafes. As we were the only group staying, the hotel was limited to two groups per day, and we had the whole building to ourselves, and we were able to use the two indoor baths as we pleased. With a location right in front of the canal, we were able to enjoy delicious food made with plenty of locally caught fish and vegetables, along with the owner's recommended wine. The building is a renovated old inn, with carefully selected furniture here and there, giving it a modern feel, but although it does have a sense of antiquity, the warm hospitality made it unnoticeable. We also enjoyed coupons for free use at affiliated cafes and Amanohashidate Winery when we stayed here.
