J'ai vraiment du mal à comprendre tous ces excellents commentaires. Pour notre part, nous avons trouvé un hôtel vieillissant, pas entretenu avec un personnel peu disponible (il a fallu attendre 15mn à l'arrivée dans une entrée vide avant qu'une personne se manifeste). Les chambres sont sombres, froides, sentent le moisi et la poussière. La salle de bain n'était pas propre. Nous avions prévu de rester 2 nuits mais nous sommes partis après la 1ere. A ce prix là, c'est difficilement acceptable.

Although the lodge is in town & walking distance to shops & restaurants, the cabins are set back off the road in a lush jungle garden with walking trails. Our little cabin was charming & very comfortable, if not fancy. Comfy bed, good shower, coffeemaker, toiletries — all the expected basics for a nice stay. Staff was super friendly & helpful. The free breakfast buffet is a short walk away at the affiliated Ficus Hotel next door. Would definitely stay here again — it was a good value in a pricey tourist destination.

The lodge was clean. The service was good. The breakfast location with views and food was superb. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the wooden cabins with views of forest. Did a 1 km trail on the property and saw some birds and green house which was very beautiful. The staff are very friendly and gave suggestions for food and places to explore around the town.

This quiet accommodation is in twin cabins in the middle of the rain forest. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The surrounding forest teems with wildlife which can easily be observed from the private terrace. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing. Santa Elena, a hub for all activities, is within a short walking distance.

Our spacious room was surrounded by a lush tropical landscape. Was able to sit on the balcony and watch amazing birds stop by. The staff were all attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. The location was within walking distance of many restaurants. Breakfast was very good. We’d easily return.

Enjoyable stay
This was a last minute booking after a late change of plan. However we were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location excellent for walking to restaurants. We stayed in a superior cabin, which was spacious. The bathroom needed updating and there was a musty smell, but it is surrounded by damp jungle, so I guess that’s what you have to expect!
