We stayed over New Year's Eve and had a great view over the crowds gathering at the Christmas market. The room was clean and was as expected. The only downside of the hotel is that it's not very convenient to get to the exit, as you'll have to go through the mall first before reaching the lobby and then take another elevator up to the rooms.

Hotel is right in the Chinatown district of Montreal. Parking is below, while small and tight, there is room. There is a small daily fee to park, typical of large cities. I went to the second floor to check in and was given my room on the higher floor. It’s typical for a downtown Holiday Inn. Room clean, nice view of the city, furnace worked well, sadly weak shower pressure found so often. Because I am a Platinum IHG member, breakfast was included both days I stayed. It was typical American despite being in a Chinese themed hotel due to location. Buffet style and filling. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a large amount of Canadian coins I had collected over the years in the States, and they were happy to convert to bills and loonies/toonies. That helped with small purchases in the city. Checkout went well. I had no issues with safety despite coming back late at night.

First off, if you`re reading this and you`re a Bonvoy Platinum (or above member) then I`d book this over any other Montreal property. The Club Lounge is that good (more on that later). My family and I stayed her at the tail end of a Quebec vacation. The location is very central, just a couple of blocks away from Rue St. Catherine and the Metro and maybe a 20 minute walk to Old Town and Mount Royal. As others have mentioned, the lobby is undergoing a renovation but the Club Lounge is open and newly redone and absolutely amazing. We didn`t use the pool or gym but we did check them out and they look really nice, there`s also a large outdoor space just off the pool with tables so even if you don`t have club lounge access there`s some nice places to hang, especially in nice weather. Parking was surprisingly affordable for a large city at aroung $25.00 a day. Our junior suite was actually larger than I thought it would be a king size bed in the bedroom and a separate living room with a queen size sofa, my teenager used the sofa bed and didn`t have any complaints. The room also had a cool table/ that could electronically lower or raise and had a bunch of USB ports built in. I imagine this would be very handy for anyone wanting to get some work done in the room. The true jewel of this property is the club lounge, located on the top floor it has absolutely stunning views of the city and is the largest I've seen yet so even though breakfast was extremely busy, we still found seating. Breakfast consisted of eggs, french toast some breakfast meats plus a chacuterie and cheese platter, fruits, croissants etc. There was plenty to choose from and the quality was quite good. They do a really nice affternoon spread staring at 5pm that could easily take care of dinner with hot foods, chacuterie and even nice little dishes full of pickeled vegetables. My only complaint would be tht the bar service was very pricey. Also a couple of the attendants weren't very friendly and it was very challenging to get information about Gluten-Free foods for my daughter. The chef even came out at one point to talk to a worker I'd asked and even though I was right there, he didn't look at me or offer to help me find some foods for her. Of course this is only an issue if you're concerned about allergies and the food was plentiful and very good. Overall this is a beautiful property and I'll definitely return.

Very nice lobby and friendly front desk staff. The location is both a positive and a negative - it's so central to McGill University, shopping, restaurants, etc, but my room was facing the main street and it was extremely noisy at all hours of the night and day! There was construction going on across the street that continued up until midnight and then started again around 5-6 am! I'm so glad I had earplugs but still! I asked to be moved, but the front desk staff said there were no free rooms available. I think the least that they could have done was provide a discount for rooms facing the street, because it was extremely loud at all hours. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, and were it not for the noise, it would have been an extremely comfortable stay. The room was quite large, and included a mini fridge and coffee maker. What I don't understand about this hotel room (not sure they are all the same) is that they had blackout curtains but only for half of the window! It was impossible to close them all the way because the curtain rod was split into two non-joining pieces! Why in the world would anyone have blackout curtains that could not be closed, thus defeating their entire purpose? We were in fact worried about people from adjacent buildings being able to see into our rooms at night, because while there was a sheer curtain that covered the whole window, it was physically impossible to close our curtains! The reason I gave three stars instead of more was due to the noise and the lack of curtains - otherwise, it would have been a 5 star stay.

Everything was as expected to the friendly front desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed and awesome location. You can walk to the old port, downtown and abundant shopping malls from the hotel. We didn’t use our car so the $30/night fee seems expensive. All around great stay in an awesome city.

Apart from the first-class location, the hotel has nothing to recommend it. It is a few hundred meters away from the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Restaurant, a popular place in Chinatown, and not far from the Cathedral of Our Lady. There are no attractions around it! The only problem is that the hotel facilities are too old, the room has no windows and smells too bad!

We chose this hotel because we wanted to be in the centre of Montreal and we needed a crib or playpen for our baby and the website said they had them free. - Lack of communication: I tried to reach them via Expedia many times and they never answered me. - One of the men at reception was very rude with my husband and he didn't know if they had playpens and my husband had to find one and a mattress for our baby in their storeroom. - Poor cleanness: the bathtub was either dirty or old but it had some yellow spots where I didn't dare to sit my baby; the windows were dirty too. - The parking lot must be very small because we had to park at a different location and didn't even offer us to do it in their building. + Beds were comfy + We could use the microwave at the restaurant to heat our baby's food. + There was someone at reception who could speak Spanish and was very friendly. + It is close to the centre and lively areas.

We stayed during Covid-19. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to La Ronde. The parking is excellent- there is a small surface lot out front and a large surface lot out back. This is important for us as we have a big lifted pickup truck. There was plenty of room for it to park! The lobby is cool and looks like it would be fun during non Covid times. There is a plane hanging from the ceiling and pictures of planes all over, which we’re fun to see. Staff was great. We saw them cleaning frequently and they always had masks on. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. The bar & restaurant are closed. The pool and hot tub were open and did not require a reservation. They asked us to wear masks on the pool deck if social distancing wasn’t possible. We used the pool twice and were the only ones there both times. Pool towels were available at the pool. The room was a good size- two queen beds and a desk. Newly renovated and decently clean. We did a good clean of all touch points with Lysol wipes when we arrived, just to be safe. There was a fridge. There was a microwave on our floor but not in our room. There were 3 sets of towels in the room. We had to change rooms our second night. We were originally put in room 409 and there was a rambunctious family in 407. Starting at 7am, the kids were running up and down the hall, the door was banging, over and over. We sleep in so we were not impressed. We asked if they were checking out & were told by a lovely front desk clerk that they were there another night. We asked to move and she moved us to 621- it had a lovely view of the river. She commented that the hotel was quiet so there were lots of choices for quiet rooms. Strange that we weren’t spaced out at the start of that was the case. The second room was much quieter and we slept in until 10am without hearing a peep. The hotel is only about 10min to La Ronde amusement park by car, which was the purpose of our visit. We will be back again.

Very good hotel close to airport. Would definitely return. Pros - amazing staff that are very customer focused (kuddos to the manager and training given) - this is a major differentiator - good gym that has descent equipment - whilst no restaurant or room service, basic food options available next to lobby - shuttle every 30 min to airport (with excellent driver that is also client focused) - good treatment of Ambassador and BonVoy status traveller’s - very good wifi - relatively new hotel Cons - no room service - no hot breakfast - pool has no sauna

We stayed at the Auberge Objectif Sante for a couple of nights last week. It is in a very much French speaking part of Canada and is run by a Chinese couple where the husband speaks very little English of French. I found using google translate on the phone was an effective means of communication. The lady appears to speak passable English and French. When we checked in we were asked for payment before being sent to our room. The room itself was very small but we had expected this. It was okay for two nights but the lack of bedside tables was a bit of negative. The bed itself was the fold down type that could be folded up against the wall. It was quite comfortable. They asked if we wanted the housekeeping service on our middle night and we said that we did not need this. Despite being small, the room was quite adequate for cleanliness but one single very small bit of soap in the bathroom was not quite enough. They offer breakfast at extra cost and I would recommend taking this. The breakfasts were very good and set us up for the remainder of the day. Chambly is the nearby town which styles itself as a suburb of Montreal. We ate there on our first evening and were pleasantly surprised by it's vibrancy and nightlife. Sadly there are very few places to stay in the vicinity and Chambly is too far to walk from The Auberge Objectif Sante. We also took a day trip to Montreal and found that we were well placed to drive to the metro station at Longeuil. A tip is to park in the public parking at Hotel Sandeman. The Metro station is immediately adjacent. So would I recommend the Hotel Auberge Objectif Sante? If you are looking for a full hotel, then definitely not. If you are looking for a modest motel that is well kept, clean and you don't mind having to drive everywhere, then it is okay . For the price, there were no real problems.

Outstanding
秦秦The newly opened hotel is located in the city center and is connected to the HR mall. It is convenient for shopping and eating.
The rooms and facilities are very new, the decoration style is relatively modern, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. Compared with Ritz Carlton not far away, the price is better at the same time.
Overall, the experience is good, value for money, after all, the price is not cheap.
GGuest UserI love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay.
My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here.
In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too.
Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.
GGuest UserThe CBC booked this hotel for my wife and I during our stay in Montreal. It was during the Jazz Festival, Cirque in the streets, and a great deal of other happenings. The hotel staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The food (especially breakfast) was top notched and reasonably priced. The rooms are more on a European level/style, but the rainshower was great. Would high recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserHad a very pleasant stay at Hotel Terrace Royal, Montreal . Hotel staff - are helpful and friendly . Hotel overall snd a room are fabulous clean. Very nice cafe downstairs with light breakfast options snd confectionery . I will definitely stay in again. Highly recommend
SSarah and EricThis hotel is conveniently located in the terminal at the Montreal airport. The rooms are large, clean, and modern. It’s a perfect place to crash if you only have a few hours and don’t want to go off-property.
My only complaint is about a staff member’s error. While I had pre-paid for the room, I was asked to place a credit card on hold for incidentals, which is normal. At checkout, I confirmed we were all set (no charges). Later, I found my credit card had been charged over $100 for something. The hotel said they made a mistake a refunded the charge, but I have now been charged an international transaction fee for both the charge and the refund, which is really annoying since I didn’t purchase anything.
GGuest UserMaité & Simon were perfect hosts! They were always available for any and all of my questions and took care of our little family so well. From everything to an early check-in/late check-out so our babies could nap, to providing us with a highchair and playpen, it was so perfect! We had come specifically to Montreal to take our daughter to the Biodome and this location was just minutes walk away. Once in the room, they had a binder full of helpful recommendations and tips (the Oeuferie for breakfast was fabulous). We were even able to secure free on street parking but do watch out as Montreal street signage is tricky!
LlynnBreakfast is average, but it is still very convenient and cost-effective. The hotel is a few kilometers from the airport, you can see the plane taking off, the children like it. The hotel has a car park and there is also a free bus airport transfer.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very central to all the place we wanted to be. It seemed like a 20 min walk to everywhere. Chinatown, Old Montreal, Waterfront, St Catherine street to city centre and the other way to The Gay Village. There are a lot of people that hang around in the streets around the hotel but it seems to be a big issue in Montreal in general. We never felt unsafe but we are from Toronto. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Panoramic rooms so we had a corner and a lounge. The rooms with just the beds are very small, it was nice having the extra space. They did not clean the rooms due to Covid which was fine but there is no where to dry a towel so we had to be creative. The bed was comfortable thought because it was not fully made up each day it got to be a bit of a mess and was harder to fix. The AC in the bedroom blows right on your head! The Lobby smelled wonderful and was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all great place and we would stay again.
AAnonymous User🚗 Transportation: The hotel does not provide a shuttle to the airport, you have to take a taxi
🧹 Hygiene: Good
🍃 Environment: Good
🔔Service: We arrived late, and there was only one person at the front desk. It happened that the guests in front had some special circumstances to deal with, so he was a little busy to check-in and waited for a long time. The overall service is good
