Excellent stay! Ryokan was clean and spacious. Dinner and breakfast were out of the world. Attention to details with an elaborate menu. Outdoor onsen was also fantastic! Would gladly stay again if visiting the area!

The service was amazing and the food was good too . The beds were comfortable,and everywhere was clean. It was just an amazing experience . I would love to come back again!

It was truly the best ryokan. The staff were very friendly and I was satisfied with both the food and the hot springs. I asked to make a reservation for a shuttle bus to the next hotel, and he did his best to explain as I cannot speak Japanese. At the end, they even came out to say goodbye and I felt like I was being treated very warmly.

I stayed there with a breakfast-only plan. I was expecting a good meal considering the price, but it was just average... The bathroom wasn't particularly good compared to other facilities, so I don't really know what makes it such a long-established establishment. The staff in charge of breakfast were very friendly and had lovely smiles.

Shikitei is a traditional style ryokan in every way. This was my second visit and as before, the staff were second to none. They were warm efficient and welcoming. Genuine Japanese hospitality. Food was excellent and again the staff were always there to help. Thanks to everyone at Shikitei

Shiikitei Is quiet and relaxed. The staff are fantastic the food and facilities are excellent. I had the best private outdoor hot spring bath with my room I have ever seen. This alone would bring me back to Shikitei Thanks to everyone
