Hotels in Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt, Munich

The front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a loft, which was a pleasant surprise. However, to our horror, we discovered that our door could not be locked from the outside when we left the room. This happened on two consecutive days, and we later realised that the door lock battery had been drained. As two women travelling together, this made us feel unsafe, and we became even more vigilant after these incidents. While staff were promptly sent up to resolve the issue each time, it is worth noting that no service recovery was offered. We were also informed that another room had experienced a similar issue just the day before, which raises concerns about maintenance and checks. Otherwise, the location is convenient. That said, we would recommend returning to the hotel by sunset, as the surrounding area can feel somewhat unsafe, particularly for female travellers.

The front desk staff were quite unwelcoming. At one point, it felt like I was being ignored, as they seemed to avoid acknowledging me when I approached. There was also an issue with a missing extra bed in the room upon arrival. However, I appreciate that this was resolved quickly once I brought it to their attention. Another concern was with housekeeping. They entered the room at around 9:00 AM while I was still inside, which was uncomfortable and felt like a lack of privacy. The best thing is very close to the train station.

Plus - The hotel's successful location near the station and main attractions. Clean, comfortable beds, good room equipment, emulsion is the role of the stand, sleep in full dark great pleasure. Mini bar free, beer, water, juice. Welcome staff, good breakfast. Of the downsides, it's a tram under the windows who is sensitive to sound, noise can interfere. I didn't hear the tram when the window closed. No slippers. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 6 PM on the first day. We had two rooms, and two people were checking us in. The person checking in the double room told me it was actually a single room, and the single room was checked in for two people. I don't think that's right. That evening, we washed our clothes and put them on the rack, and the amount of dust we wiped off was like the first picture. The next morning, they didn't clear away our breakfast until after 3 PM, and didn't even clean up the items on the floor. This hotel doesn't even have its own parking lot, which made us search for ages. We asked later and found out they don't have one. They did help us bring our luggage upstairs. The front desk staff had a bad attitude.

The hotel is located very close to the train station, but the room (at least the one I had) was quiet as it was facing the inside area. There is a nice small swimming pool included in the room price on the last floor, open from 6 am to 11 pm. The staff was kind and fast

This area is a hotel area, there are more people in the Middle East, and I always feel that it is not safe. The hotel is just a crossroads. There is a motorcycle sound blowing the street at night! It is noisy to close the window, and the room inside may be better! The room is still relatively new, but there is a bottle of free water, breakfast is OK, typical Western breakfast, fried eggs and coffee need to be ordered! The traffic is very convenient, there are many attractions and cathedrals nearby, and the new city hall is also there.

We loved our overnight stay at the hotel. We will stay again, for sure, when in Munich :)

The door of the hotel is small and the path is very deep, but fortunately the signboard is very obvious and easy to find. It is not far from the central train station. It can be walked for ten minutes. The key is that the price is very high, the surrounding is very quiet and safe, the sanitation is also very good, and the facilities and equipment are also very complete. The elevator is super small, but the operation is still stable, so that you don't climb the stairs. The room is spacious and clean. . The hotel is small, but the buffet breakfast is provided, the variety is not much, but the taste is quite good, and there is no problem with eating. It is a five or six-minute walk from the subway entrance and there are different subway exits in different directions. Munich's traffic is very developed and it is very convenient to go anywhere. The two days I went there were just weekends, and all supermarket shopping malls were basically closed. Fortunately, not far from the Central Railway Station, the supermarket shops in the Central Railway Station are open. There is a Vietnamese food stall in Zhong'an Railway Station, the price is cheap, the key is that the taste is very suitable for Chinese. It is highly recommended to go to Ningfenbao Palace, this is the place where Princess Sisi has lived since childhood, very beautiful. The Olympic Park is very lively and there are many snacks to play. The English garden is large, the scenery is beautiful, and the large lawn is free to take pictures. The city hall is very lively and crowded, shopping and eating and taking pictures is enough for you to play all day. Both universities are world-renowned universities, you can go shopping.

The shower floor had significant limescale buildup, and the shower door didn't seal properly, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor. We also noticed fruit flies flying around at breakfast. However, breakfast did offer tea bags from a historic German brand and fresh fruit, which was a nice touch. Our room had been recently renovated and faced an internal courtyard, ensuring it was very quiet. It also had air conditioning. While the triple room was a bit small, the hotel's location is excellent. It's an incredibly short walk to the Central Station, with a supermarket and pharmacy conveniently located nearby, and Marienplatz is also within easy reach.
