I felt that this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at.
The hotel is located at the tip of Cape Muroto, down a slope.
The exterior of the hotel has a tasteful look that seems to come out of a Ghibli movie.
The interior is also very old, so there are some broken parts, but you can feel the history. (Apparently, the roof of the main building was blown off a few years ago.)
The bath is made of cypress for women! Depending on the time of day, you can have it all to yourself.
Dinner is mainly seafood, and is served in just the right amount.
If you can drink alcohol, please try the sake recommended by the Tosa sake advisor! They actually brought over a dozen types, and you can choose the sake that suits your taste.
All the rice was very delicious, but the one that was particularly impressive was the vinegared lotus root stem called Ryukyu, which was easy to eat with the sourness of yuzu, and was just right for a drink.
You can see the Pacific Ocean from your room, and you can see the beautiful sunrise.
Breakfast was delicious, with homemade dried fish as the main dish.
The service and interior design were all excellent, so it's a hotel I'd like to stay at once a year.
