Power Outage
Check in was easy. Our room was ready. Upgraded to a suite. Room was adequate. Musty smelling. Our soap dispensers were empty, and we ran out of towels and toilet paper the next day. We didn't have anyone come by the room on our second day even though we made them aware we needed cleaning and refills. Our family had travelled for a funeral. The pool was over chlorinated and burned the kids eyes and they were not able to stay in. Breakfast was ready and hot on the morning that we didnt lose power. Not their fault. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Air conditioner
Our air conditioner would not maintain a cool, 67° in our room. There were three of us and the room was too warm to really sleep comfortably. The lady from the front desk came up while we were gone and messed with it but it just never did work right.

Poor stay
The air conditioner didn’t work the pool and hot tub was closed down and the pool was the main reason for booking

Needs major updates.
The staff was really the only good thing. They tried so hard, but the property has a lot of problems. They need some major maintenance and updating down. Was put into wrong type of room, and then at midnight they gave the room to someone else and as we are sleeping, people walk in with a key card. Rooms weren’t gross, but they can do better.

Sadly, avoid it. Not safe.
Good: the room was clean, breakfast was good, SOME of the staff was friendly. Evening staff was great.
Bad: pool broken, hot tub broken, sauna broken. Gas was stolen out of my truck in the parking lot. My son’s car has a locking gas cap so they tried to pry his open. Homeless people wondering around the parking lot and I reported it but front desk said they’re harmless.
After paying $2000 for the stay, the older woman working the front desk, accused me of stealing dirty towels at checkout.

Holiday Inn Express for real ?
I was expecting a lot more being that it was Holiday Inn Express. I felt the property could have been a lot cleaner. The clerk at the front desk was nice and was able to give me a clean comforter and extra towels. The condition of the bathtub in my room was a shock also. If I would had to stay longer I would have went to another hotel.

Experienced again, an excellent customer service both from the front desk and restaurant personnel! But I think the hotel needs a bit of cleaning or renovation as the toilet in our room was a bit dirty, I could have taken a picture but I opted not to as the hotel needs to have a random spot checking of all areas in the hotel to guarantee customer satisfaction.
