The hotel room was a simple yet so clean. Location wise is good and safe for solo customer who loves to travel around by foot as it is not that far to walk to the Nagoya Mall. The food around serves local nice food so not to worry about getting hungry. The hotel staff are also nice and warm welcoming kind.I will definitely put this hotel in my list for next visit to Batam.

Very good experience for my first time staying at Ando.
Selected Ando after reading good reviews and on my arrival, didn’t know that Nagoya Mall is just a walking distance away. About 2 minutes across the road, and not forgetting there’s a convenience store next door.
Did my proper check-in and gotten my room around 5 plus after doing my nails and did some shopping too.
As my newly bought slipper (hook) came off, the staff provided me with the cable ties to securely salvage my shoe. Credits to the staff on duty on Saturday night.
Will definitely book here again for my next trip.
Side tip: Always go for grab and its very accessible!

Dear,Managent In charge I can say that Iam quite a regular in city central and Iam writing due to my unpleasant stay and treatment from 1 of your staff I eloberate a small build Chinese lady with a stuck up and rude outlook and respond to guest frankly let me give the management my point of view if this lady don't know how to respect guest and smile I guess she don't belong to the Service Industry.And I believe the management are not on the ground to see this problem so as a guest I pay and not staying city central for free so I demand a small respect from your hotel staff as Iam a guest .But for the pass few days this small build Chinese lady wearing city central uniform really piss me off as if she owns the hotel ,higher management please look into the matters as if this staff keep on having her attitude problem towards guest she can spoilt city central good names from the outlook of a guests perception.Management should take note about this matters seriously before the situation get Bad for your hotel outlook and please send her for a hotel course so she can learn to respect guests in future . GGuest User Me and my family had the chance to stay at Aston Nagoya Hotel. We got check in process was super fast and seamless. We were assigned to a room on the 13th floor and oh boy.. what a nice room. It has the best city view of batam, in the night we can see the lighting of batam. Nearest from food court and shopping mall. All the staff very great service from the security, reception and resto staff. They did a very good job in providing an excellent service. Last but not least, special thank you to the Duty Manager, Mr. Randi who made our stay very memorable. He was very kind and attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. Thumbs up for his great job and effort to make our stay enjoyable. He is a great asset to this company. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommended hotel in Batam!

JJayTee23Very efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

IIce Cream SodaNice gym on top level. big bed and spacious room. Opposite hotel there is indomart but need to cross a busy road. Beside the hotel there is a mini indomart which does not require to cross the main road. Breast spread consider big compare to other batam 4 star hotel.

GGuest UserHotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

GGuest UserI don’t give 1/5 reviews. I am only triggered when the cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. This hotel gave me a room that I had to walk through a smoke reeked corridor. When I went into the room, I got a room that had so much wordless shakes than nods of approval. 1) Toilet was not clean. There was mold. 2) Room had to be “perfumed” with a packet of something hanging on the air con duct 3) ALL the towels in the room were stained. Asked for a new set and it was STILL stained 😳. 4) No shampoo as a 4 star hotel. 5) Recycled bed room slippers ( of which I am fine ) but it was stained with dubious stuff. 6) Room picture hangs precariously over my head. 7) The extra bed I paid extra for came without a bed frame and was placed on the floor. Housekeeping said it is like that 😵💫 Management has to do something. The poor housekeeping got a hard time from me 🙏🏻

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel from 28 to 31 dec. Had a connecting room. Spacious room. Surrounded with local eateries. 5 to 10mins drive from hotel to Nagoya Mall. Staffs at reception and housekeeping were very pleasant and accommodative. Breakfast is very basic but tasteful. Highly recommended.

Contact hotel via WhatsApp before arrive to check on room n booking status.Stay Was ok and The staff here are the best from FD,HK,Security and F&B Cons: -Req Junior Suite Type room On High Floor,but only told during c/in the room is at level 3 and same type room at level 8 is smoking floor.Should inform earlier -No access card require for lift acces to guest room. -Breakfast spread not so much,(standard 3 star hotel) -Room at level 3 view is building back side. -Some furniture was tore,dated but its well maintained. -The entertainment,games and Internet area closed,no PC can use,no console game as advertised. -Hot lobby,u dont know why they like the hot lobby.Some guest come from walk outside sweating and uncomfortable due to hot lobby. -as 3 star boutique hotel,there is no swimming pools Buts there is spa located at 3rd floor. Pro: -Good and professional staff. -Good AC on room,very cold.i like -spacious room (jr suite room) -Good Housekeeping team,we love when we come back to hotel and out room is clean n tidy. -even the food on Breakfast is just fine,the staff entertain us very well. -near nagoya mall (walking distance) -beside convenience shop -infront of rumah makan sederhana and momo coffee house. -there 1 small coffee shop above indomaret beside hotel -online taxi can pick/drop here.
