Hotels Near Nijigaoka Park in Nagoya

Convenient location and nice hotel. Room size quite decent and provide hot bath facilities in the hotel. Will come back to stay again

We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler. We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower. It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser. Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends. And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

The response from the front desk at check-in was wonderful. It was very convenient as it was less than 10 minutes walk from Kanayama Station. Also, the room was clean and there was an air purifier that humidified the room, which is a good thing compared to other hotels. Above all, I was able to stay at a cheap price, so if I ever stay in Kanayama again, I would like to use it again.

Until the end of the year and the beginning of the year 12/31〜1/3, I arrived earlier than the check-in time on the day, but I was able to check in about 30 minutes early because the room was ready. Also, since the previous accommodation record is displayed on the panel, it was smooth only by signature without writing on paper. This time we used the standard room of 709. The room was eastward, there was a view from the window, Wi-Fi was smooth, the toilet and bath were unit buses, but the shower curtain was curved and I don't feel narrow. However, at this time of winter, when you enter the bath, you must bend your knees and sit in the gym, but the drainage and hot water are smooth, and the adjustment of the shower head becomes easy Such improvements were highly appreciated. The bed was large and easy to sleep, but there was no space to spread the suitcase for that minute, so there was no problem because I knew the area. The refrigerator is also a drawer type, so it is easy to use. It was not heating anymore, and I wanted to put the place of the air cleaner on the window side, but there was no outlet and only near the pillow. Check out is smooth with a dedicated machine. Breakfast is never a lot of items, but you can wear gloves and enjoy it in the form of a Viking. The location is from subway No.7, but if you have a suitcase, you can go up to the ground using the escalator of Nikko Fushimi building from exit 4. However, you need to cross the crosswalk. Also, when you walk 5 minutes to the left side of the hotel, there is a supermarket operated by Don Quixote on the １ floor of the terrace barn bridge, and there are many celery, bread, daily miscellaneous goods, and Matsukiyo in the food court. In addition, the post office was nearby to the comeda, the bus stop of the airport limousine which was suspended this time was also close, and the location was also highly valued considering the surrounding environment.

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience. Location and Accessibility: Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport. Room: The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough. Service and Facilities: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded. Overall Impression: Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Very near to nagoya station. Within 5minutes walking to meitetsu bus station and train station. If you have luggages, no need worry too much. The hotel is one street opposite from meitetsu train station (to airport) Hotel relatively much spacious than I thought of. I have three big luggages and no problem to open them in my room. Breakfast wise slightly less choice of variation compared to other hotel that I stay. No free amenities such as lotion or moisturiser. Will book again since the location is very strategic and meet my most needs.

Located in a place that takes less than ５ minutes from Nagoya Station. The location is also easy to understand. The room was large, comfortable and clean and satisfactory. The room space is a typical business. The bed was very comfortable. The water was beautiful, the bath towels were fluffy, and it was good to not smell strange. It may have happened, but it was good that I couldn't hear the sound from the surroundings. I was a little worried that the location of the hotel, the structure of the room, and even if there was a window, the outside could only see the ridge of the next building and there was a feeling of pressure. I thought I could endure it if I stayed for a short time. Breakfast is a donut, donut, coffee, etc. with Mr. Donut. I thought I would be fine without breakfast because there are many convenience stores and shops around. The inn was reasonable and helpful. I wanted to stay if I had another chance because the overall point is high.

First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. It is located near Nagoya station. When we opted our room not to be cleaned, they provided with eye mask which is very thoughtful, apart from being sustainable. Overall a pleasant stay here.

Location is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.

I stayed there with my mom, and we liked the location as it was super close to the station. However, we would like to leave some comments for other guests. We booked the Superior Twin Room - High Floor - Non-Smoking, which was located on the 21st floor. I thought the room would be big, as the photos on the website suggested, but it was not. We hardly placed our big suitcase and packed our luggage. The room and the bed were so tiny that it only fit one person. I think this hotel is designed more for business purposes than for tourism. Also, we ordered the hotel breakfast and thought it would be served inside the hotel, but it turned out that the hotel gave us redemption tickets and asked us to have breakfast at the restaurant located on the ground floor, right next to the front desk and the restaurant. The food was not bad, and they provided two options, such as Japanese and Western breakfasts. We only had breakfast there for two days; for the other days, we ate outside near the hotel, where there were more options, and the price and quality were even better. Regarding check-out time, we were asked to leave the room by 10 a.m., which was too early for us. If you want to check out later, you need to pay 1,000 yen per hour. That means if you want to check out at 12 p.m., you need to pay 2,000 yen. I think the early check-out time is very inconvenient for guests, especially when breakfast at the restaurant is available until 11 a.m. It seems quite unreasonable.
