Hotels Near Sakaemachi Station in Nagoya

It's right next to Exit 2 of Sakae Station. To the back of the accommodation is Oasis 21, to the front is Don Quixote + downtown. Personally, it was a great location for walking around! It took about 12 minutes to get to Nagoya Station by subway.👍🏻 Maybe the room next door was quiet, but I couldn't hear any noise at all. The beverage and luggage storage facilities on the 2nd floor were good. Self check-in/check-out!

Great for women too! (Review only for women) I went with my teen daughter just bcs we were curious about this idea. It was amazing! I hear that originally, the capsule hotels were made for drunk men who couldn’t catch the last train to go home and can’t afford the expensive taxis in japan. So I was worried about the place been full of drunk ppl but I search for a capsule hotel for women too. I love it! - The 2F is only for women and u can’t get in if you don’t have a special key so it’s pretty safe. - Everything was divided for male and female … even the eating area. - It’s also a No Smoking place. Perfect! - ALL instructions are in English (actually good translation) ;) - You can also borrow/ask for (free) extra chargers (although u have inside the capsule), iwatch charger, nail clippers, contact lense cleaner, hair iron, etc. (1F) - check in 2pm and check out 12mid day - Coin laundry (4F for women) - Locker and place to put your clothes or suitcase (5F) - Steam iron in the locker area (5F) LOCATION ***** Excelente location! Only 3 to 5min from Sakae Station. Many restaurants and things to do around the hotel. We could have stayed 3 nights there to see everything! AMENITIES ***** This place has sooo many things for the spa! You literally don’t need anything! Not even a pijama! BATH (4F for women)***** I think the male bath is different. The bath is 5 stars! It’s a great public bath for Japanese or foreigners. I particularly don’t like showering in front of people and like the privacy of my own shower. Usually Japanese public bath don’t offer this option but this hotel had 2 showers where you can clean yourself before going to the “onsen” (with only one type of shampoo, conditioner, body soap and face soap). The onsen or public bath is great! They actually have one with hot and the other one with cold water. Here you will find more than 5 brands of product to wash yourself (not like the private shower rooms). They also have a dry sauna and an AMAZING stone sauna! The sink area where you dry your hair, brush your teeth, etc is awesome! Really, no need to bring anything from home! CLEANING **** The hotel looks pretty clean. There is always a lady in the bath area making sure everything was nice and clean. BREAKFAST (11F) It says that the breakfast is included but it’s only rice with pickles, egg and soup. Do not expect the western breakfast. BUT I think this is even better! There is a big area (divided for male and female) where you can bring your own food (from a convenient store or the 1000 restaurants close by) and eat there. There is also a big area where men and women can eat. The rice and soup and all that is from 6am to 12 midnight. You can also drink whatever you want (soft drink and coffee)! THINGS I WOULD LIKE THEM TO ADD OR CHANGE - I would love if one elevator is only for women and the other only for men. - The capsule has ear plugs but the little bag where it comes in, makes so much noise. The Livemax Hotel in Marunouchi was incredible! The service I received from the staff was top notch! I felt well-accommodated and the public bath was just the cherry on top. That coupled with the sauna were a highlight. It’s also close to several subway entrances and Central Park for shopping. I truly enjoyed my stay there and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to visit Sakae or Hisaya-dori park.

Location was between 2 stations, quite a walk if you carry large luggage. Price was very affordable and hotel is new, rooms are small but can’t complain with the attractive prices. It’s located at the edge of a entertainment area so if you venture down the streets at night might not be suitable for families.

We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler. We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower. It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser. Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends. And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

5/9 has a high evaluation and a low price, and I used it for the first time. (Please tell the cleaning staff in room 303) I was also confused by the mirroring of the TV, the way was complicated, I was going to see the movie in Amazon video, but I didn't succeed. I was able to go to the screen for iPhone, connect WiFi and choose TV ... I was watching YouTube without any choice, but the line was bad and it was not moving, and there was no screen and voice, and it was very misplaced. So I finally saw a movie on my phone. I think it's inconvenient for young children to use. Where is the microwave oven description? There was no description in the elevator, and when I went to the 5th floor to get ice, there was a microwave oven. It was a little shock because it was after finishing shopping. When I checked out, a man and a woman stood at the front desk and checked out to the woman. It was a pity that there was no morning greeting and smile. It seems that the rank as a hotel is low for the good death considering the price.

The hotel room is clean and the location is meant to be convenient; it is just a few mins walk from the subway exit However, it was very unfortunate that the exit was closed on the next day after we arrived due to the Golden week holiday, and the distance to the hotel became very far. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. But considering paying almost US$130 a night for a self service hotel , it is pricey. You need to get amenities ie paper cup, hot water, robes,....from the lobby and there wasn't any safe deposit box Nor phone in the room. The attitude of the staff is average.

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience. Location and Accessibility: Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport. Room: The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough. Service and Facilities: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded. Overall Impression: Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Good location only 3-5 minute walk from jr station, opposite of Big camera There are several restaurants around. The room is very small for 2 people. You cannot walk pass each other. But it’s clean and near the train station.

The response from the front desk at check-in was wonderful. It was very convenient as it was less than 10 minutes walk from Kanayama Station. Also, the room was clean and there was an air purifier that humidified the room, which is a good thing compared to other hotels. Above all, I was able to stay at a cheap price, so if I ever stay in Kanayama again, I would like to use it again.
