There are shopping malls near the hotel, a few minutes’ drive away, and shopping is also convenient. After staying there for a week, the hotel can rent a car and it is safe to go out. There, I ran out of money, the hotel manager was a Chinese, and he also helped to accept the domestic WeChat exchange of RMB for US dollars. It was almost a sense of seeing a fellow countryman. Very grateful for the hotel's help, very humane. Will stay there next time I go.

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! Anthony, a trainee at the concierge, was super friendly and helpful. Super professionalism made my stay rewarding. The breakfast was very good but the room wifi was very weak and cannot be connected. Location is great and restaurant Kilimanjaro, riverside shuttle station are within walking distance.

The hotel is opened by the Chinese, the room is large, the bed is large, and the standard room in Africa has been living for so long. The standard double bed of this hotel is the largest.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights on 07 March 2024. The room were very clean I even left a tip for the room cleaner for the first time in my life. Really, Everything was lovely, breakfast, food on rooftop restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definately I will be coming back. Happy customer, Kate😃

It was planned for 3 days in total, but the location is very good and the house cleaning is very beautiful, so I decided to stay for another night! The water pressure of the bath water comes out well, and the hot water comes out properly. The front desk is also kind. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, so you can rest assured.

I stayed at the hotel for 1.5 days. It is truly exceptional - the staff, the service, the food, the rooms. The staff is very attentive and pays great attention to guests' needs. They seem very well trained. I recommend a visit to the Spa. The hotel restaurant is also very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean. If you look in detail, the hotel is starting to show that it has been around for ~5 years and more maintenance might be needed. Don't get me wrong: it is still very good, but at this price point, the very last bit of refinement might need a critical look (dents in places, superficially patched cracks etc.). Overall, this is probably one of the best hotel in Nairobi and I highly recommend it.

Best service ever. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Safe area, clean and very nice breakfast which is made for you as like it personally. The staffs are very nice people. They do everything you would like you'd ask. ASAP! Thanks to all staff working there from the guards to chefs to the receptionist. Especially receptionist Ann and others who are working at night. I will book this hotel every time I'm going to be visiting Nairobi and also the hotel is very safe for your valuable staffs. there's a safe at the room but your other bigger stafs like laptobs are also safe Thanks, Ann and Others that work mostly at night. You guys made my vacation unforgettable.

The home away from home feels start at the reception, warm, friendly and helpful. Mary you are a gem with a gorgeous smile. The rooms are beautiful, the beds splendid and the pillows divine. the turn down service is for kicks. Thanks Cynthia for the evening conversation and ideas on how to enjoy a bit of Nairobi night scene. I enjoyed the breakfast spread and the service was attentive and efficient: thank to Victor and Ancieta for bearing with me and my coffee demands. They make a pretty almond latte art. Now the bar, of course I had a cocktail or 2 😋 and Kimani the Mixologist suited my picky taste. I will be back to try the signature Bullfrog, I never had the chance this time around. Other things I loved….the gym, clean and organised; the business centre just what you need for a quick meeting.

The bed was soft and comfortable, the breakfast was OK and the environment was nice. The only problem was that the water was yellow and smelled like disinfectant, whether it was flushing the toilet or taking a shower.
