Nanjing Confucius Temple Night Park Qinhuai Junting Hotel Reviews

A charming hotel which is very cosy and relaxing. The staff were extremely accommodating, they helped us as our travel plans changed suddenly by offering us a choice of rooms last minute. A beautiful location on the canal within walking distance of several main Nanjing attractions and the old town. Extremely clean with lovely amenities and helpful staff. Would definitely return.

It's a lovely cosy place to spend a day or two. Everything was great - nice big room, heated shower floor, delicious food, and ideal location! Although I arrived too early, the staff were very friendly, and made tea while the room was being prepared. If I ever come to Nanjing again, this place will be first on my list!

Wonderful staff. Very helpful with helping to book trips and accommodating our requests. Hotel is also in central location at the Confucius temple area. Lots to see and soak in the atmosphere. Visiting from Singapore

Great location (on the scenic river, a few hundred meters from the night market section of town as well as the subway.) The feel of the hotel is wonderful; the decor and rooms somehow capture the charm of what you'd think old-world China is, yet also both are modern and comfortable. Would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for over a week. At the arrival at the hotel, we had the choice to select our room. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. Each morning, we had a healthy breakfast in the lovely designed lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to carry our luggage to the car. Many for your great service.

Location: not in the middle of the centralized area of Confucius Temple, but close enough to walk. About 10 minutes to the Fuzimiao Metro, and 10 minutes to Confucius temple. I appreciated the location because it is much quieter and calmer than the centralized area, and quiet and beautiful along the river. Cleanliness: Considering the hotel seems quite old, it is fairly well maintained. Service: All the staff were very helpful and kind. I am not sure if anyone can speak English though. Since this hotel is only available (from what I could see) on Trip.com or Chinese apps, I only noticed Chinese guests. Nonetheless, all the staff were friendly and courteous. Tea and coffee are available all day along. Facilities: It is a small hotel, but seemed to have all basic the facilities required. At the time of stay, it seemed they were just starting renovations on the outside? Room: We stayed in a room along the street side, not the river side. If you could afford to, I am sure staying along the river side would be worth the price. Naturally, the street side didn’t have much of a view. The street side was quiet though, and the room seemed smaller than I expected (no balcony). The room was neat, and the bed comfortable. My only complaint is that the bathroom sliding door didn’t close properly. Also, a tea set was put on the table, but not tea leaves for the Chinese tea set was offered. (Tea bags and coffee were available though.) If it was just for decoration, I think fresh flowers would be preferred.

The hotel is in Chinese style and is located in a scenic area. The rooms are decorated elegantly and uniquely. The service staff are warm and thoughtful. Butler Lele is very considerate and takes good care of the elderly.

The river view room is great. Shanshan's service is great. The children were given desk lamps to do their homework. It feels like home. 🥰

The service is very good and the staff is very considerate. The room facilities are a bit old, the Chinese-style window lattice partitions are not clean and are covered with dust. The pillows look high after a long time, but they collapse when you lie down. One is low and the other two are high. I feel very tired after a night's sleep. The location is good, in the Qinhuai River Scenic Area, very convenient, and not far from the subway.

The hotel lady Lele called in advance and asked what time we would arrive. She prepared the room on time and upgraded the room type. The service was very considerate. The location is good, on the Qinhuai River, not far from the subway, and convenient to get in and out. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I'll post two pictures taken in Gongyuan Street.

The room is very quiet and facing the street. The view of Qinhuai River is so beautiful. You can see the river view when you have breakfast on the first floor. It is also very convenient to take a taxi, which is right on the road. You can walk to Confucius Temple in a few minutes to the right, and there is a 2.2-meter walking greenway along the river to the left. The hotel buffet breakfast is also good.

Every time I travel, I choose Junting Hotel. This time I was not disappointed. The hotel is in a good location, next to the Qinhuai River. The night view is beautiful at night. The customer service staff is also very good. The room type is upgraded for free, the drinks in the refrigerator are free, the mineral water is free to drink, the breakfast is very rich, the special noodles are delicious, it is also close to the Confucius Temple, and the transportation is also very convenient. In short, I am very satisfied

The accommodation experience was great. We were upgraded to a suite, which met our needs for a bathtub. The entrance was facing the water, which had a great atmosphere. The free drinks in the minibar and the welcome fruit made the journey warm.
