We spent one night in late May and stayed in room 124, which is facing to the back; we got there early and it was nice to check about an hour and a half early. The room was nice (a bit on the small side), very clean and practical; the bathroom VERY small; we had hardly any room to leave anything by the sink. The water pressure in the sink was great, the toilet flush extremely loud, so was the AC. We had a good amount of outlets, Wi-Fi was good, the lobby was very nice and the parking lot well lit, yet on the small side. We heard constant slamming of the doors... Except for the young man working the morning of our departure, everyone was very nice. Breakfast was not well tended to; I had to go to the front desk to ask to have plates restocked; the eggs had run out...another trip to the front desk; there was only powdered coffee creamer (which is not a personal preference), but there were waffles and sausage patties. The pool was not open yet, as they were still working on getting the outside ready. Location is great; within walking distance to restaurants and The Grand Ole Opry Hotel. Yes, we would stay again.

Nothing overly fancy but the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable. Not in the ”busy downtown” which actually suited us much better. We could walk to bars, and shops. Free Breakfast, Shuttle services, mini fridge in the room. Pool was nice and we enjoyed our time out there..... After staying there for 4 nights we moved on to another hotel and wished we could have come back to Hyatt Place Nashville Opryland. Matter of fact we ended up driving back to that area several times...called it our old stomping grounds! Close to Opryland.

East Nashville
Recently stayed for a week and later found out from a local that Dickerson pike is the bad part of town in Nashville. Being from a small town I figured it was just me being paranoid of a big city like Nashville. Most of Nashville is very nice but the Dickerson pike area is very run down and unfriendly. Hotel staff is unfriendly and behind bulletproof glass. People on the other end of the hotel appeared to be living there and had lots of visitors parking on one side of parking lot and making short trips to their room. Very sketchy people walking around in the middle of the night. Ambulance and fire truck made a visit to their room one night. I would definitely not stay here if I was a woman or had family with me.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Nashville North Skyline

We chose this location as we were just passing through and wanted to stay on the outskirts of the city. Yet it was convenient to major roads, shopping, etc. It seemed like the hotel was quite new; it was very clean and quiet. Adjacent restaurant was a big plus as well as the hot breakfast. The staff was friendly. Not a ding on this particular Hampton but every one we have stayed in on this trip (every night) has the most uncomfortable furniture. Whoever makes theses selections should be required to sit in the chairs and sofas for a while.

They hotel was such a great stay!!! The air didn’t properly work in the first room we was assigned and the woman at the desk didn’t hesitate to fixing the problem and was moved immediately!! I would say the only down fall to the hotel is the pool, it only goes to 3 feet. The entire pool is 3 feet deep which is a huge bummer. But the kids loved the hotel and the room was very spacious for us to fit in there comfortably!
