We stayed here twice this month and loved it both times. We stayed in both garden rooms. The beds were super comfy/soft. The decor is impeccable. And the hosts Mark and John treated us like family. The location is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant area in town. Highly recommended to stay here.

We stayed for two nights in the garden room. Beatiful bedroom with an extra house with a living room. All the details in the garden were fascinating. Mark and John took great care of us and made us very welcomed in their house for breakfast. My girlfriend want to come back again!

Mark and John are fantastic hosts at this exceptional B&B close to the centre of Nelson. Very clean, well thought-out and comfortable accommodation - and we loved the wonderfully eclectic and interesting decor! Mark and John’s warmth and humour made this a very memorable stay. Totally recommend… we will be back!!

Ah House is a MUST do for a unique Nelson city bed and breakfast experience. Enchanting accommodation, everything you need for a wonderful stay, Mark and John are THE best hosts, most comfortable bed and pillows, and yummy continental and cooked breakfast. So many special features. Highly recommend Ah House.

It was with great reluctance that we had to leave today. This was our second stay at Ah House and once again it did not disappoint. We have stayed both times in the garden apartment and it is like a home away from home. Everything is so comfy and decor is beautiful. Hosts, Mark and John, are superb and cannot do enough for you. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again one day.

From the moment we arrived to when we left Mark and John made us feel very welcome. The dining room had a good view and we had fabulous home cooked breakfasts that was served on John's china. We stayed in the garden rooms which was perfect for us, as one could read and relax if the other needed to sleep in. Great location as a short walk into town and were given recommendations of where to eat and drink. We will be back!!!

Mark and John are the most wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. With excellent regional and local knowledge and restaurant tips, we were set for each day! We loved our apartment, the super comfortable bed and amenities and the of course the delicious breakfasts... Thank you guys, you rock!
