Simply Gorgeous
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mark & John's Garden Rooms - a beautiful location, in an interesting garden, within easy walking distance of Nelson itself. Our hosts have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower powerful, breakfast iss plentiful and tasty and we highly recommend Ah House as a delightful to spend your vacation.

One night not enough in Nelson
We only spent one night in Nelson but we left wanting to stay longer.
Mark and John are terrific hosts and make you feel so welcome, the house and gardens are fantastic both \have some amazing things to discover.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Nelson.

Beautiful place. Beautiful garden Great hosts. Breakfast served in the studio apartment.nice walk through Cathedral grounds to downtown Nelson will definitely return.

WOW, wow, and WOW! Don't look any further! Just book here! You won't be disappointed. I can't say enough about the AH house, Nelson City B&B. Wonderful accommodations. We stayed in the Garden apartment, and it was lovely. Big comfortable bed with the nicest sheets and pillows along with a cozy bed warmer for those chilly Nelson evenings. Our hosts Mark and Bruce left no stone uncovered and provided everything needed for a wonderful stay including the coziest robes to wear. Coffee and creamer were also provided so upon waking we could make our own cup of French press coffee. Nice touch. The garden apartment has a beautiful private deck to sit on and enjoy the beautiful garden, complete with whimsical ornaments and gorgeous pottery sprinkled throughout. The garden is like looking at an artistically done garden canvas. AND, if that's not enough, they provide a wonderful, yummy, homemade breakfast in the dining room. The table setting is so beautiful you'll feel like a King or Queen! Mark and Bruce are the perfect hosts and there's a reason they get so many awards for their B&B. I give it a 10 out of 10! But book early. We recommended it to a couple we met while traveling, but sadly for them, it was already booked.

We stayed here twice this month and loved it both times. We stayed in both garden rooms. The beds were super comfy/soft. The decor is impeccable. And the hosts Mark and John treated us like family. The location is a 5 minute walk to the restaurant area in town. Highly recommended to stay here.

We stayed for two nights in the garden room. Beatiful bedroom with an extra house with a living room. All the details in the garden were fascinating. Mark and John took great care of us and made us very welcomed in their house for breakfast. My girlfriend want to come back again!
