Mondrian Park Avenue

Gramercy New York|0.7km from Bellevue South Park
I booked the suite room and it was located on the 17th floor. The room was spacious. The carpet was dirty and sticky but I wore flip flops. The bedsheets smelled weird but I didn’t pay much mind to it, assuming that it might’ve just been the laundry detergent they used. Their was something wrong with the pipe in the bathroom toilet, causing the toilet to not flush properly, and ultimately their was a leak in the toilet causing water to go all over the bathroom floors. I called the front desk and someone came and fixed it; along with cleaning the bathroom floors, but the flush was still an issue and wasn’t working properly throughout my stay. Housekeeping and room service is nonexistent. If you want your room cleaned you have to call the front desk. Not enough toilet paper or towels in the rooms, even in the suites. After leaving the hotel, I noticed my entire upper arm was covered in red bumps! I was appalled, and confused as to what may have caused this. Then today I checked the reviews for this hotel and a woman had left a review of the same thing happening to her after leaving this hotel. (She had also stayed in a suite, but on the 16th floor) I went to the doctor and he said that it could just be eczema but not sure; I’m guessing it might not be that, considering that this happened to another woman who stayed in a suite room at this hotel too. This lead me to believe that they either do not wash their sheets, or it’s the detergent they used that may have caused an allergic reaction. So far I haven’t seen any reviews of this happening to people that stayed in any of the other rooms, only the ones that stayed in the suites; so it can’t be the detergent, assuming they use the same detergent for all their rooms. Like I said, the bedsheets did smell very weird and gross. Unbelievable, unhygienic, and unacceptable. Do not stay here!!! The only good thing about this place was the friendly staff at the front desk, the views, and the location. Other than that, it’s very unhygienic and unkept. I also never received the breakfast voucher each person is supposed to get when they stay. No concierge or doorman either! Terrible stay. You can stay at a much better, CLEANER hotel in New York.

The bed was very comfortable, the booking was a wonderful room, a big bed, and the front desk was kind enough to ask if you would have an extra bed. There is a supermarket next to it, you can buy something very late. I received 100 dollars of dollars and returned to it in three days.

Mainly for the hotel that was close to New York's vision, there was no breakfast, the room was small, the double bed was narrower than the country, and my son and I could just lie down. Location at the intersection of 24street and 3av, it is very convenient to go to the campus of the 23rd block of New York Vision and the quarters of the 24th block. The front desk service is not bad, it is quite satisfactory. Our room is 710, very close to the elevator, a bit noisy, soundproof. There are plenty of bar shops around, such as laundry, it is very convenient. The next time I go to see my son, I will set this hotel.

The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the subway station, and the hotel is more cost-effective in Manhattan, because the road is noisy at night. There is a Chinese-style shop downstairs that is very delicious. About 23 minutes walk from New York University, the front desk staff is very warm, courteous, great 👍

The hotel is not very big, near Union Square, the transportation is convenient, the surrounding restaurants are rich, a good place to rest in the bustling, the single room is a little small, but the facilities are complete, clean and tidy

Park South is a real gem of a hotel. Absolutely amazing staff at every level who can't do enough for you. Spacious clean rooms with comfortable beds. Air con noisy but I've never stayed anywhere that has quiet AC. Incredible onsite restaurants one serving a great range of food including wood fired pizzas. Also a very trendy sushi & cocktail bar with excellent dishes. Fantastic location for exploring Manhattan's midtown. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect for sightseers, close to a subway line with convenient connections to other lines and, for good walkers, within a reasonable walking distance of some sites of interest. Park, restaurants, drugstores, grocery store nearby. The desk staff always had a friendly greeting if they weren't busy with a guest, and the staff in the breakfast room were welcoming and kept the breakfast bar neat and well-stocked and the tables clean. Given Manhattan hotel room sizes and prices, we thought our room was an adequate size for two people and the price not out of line for its excellent location. Our sixth floor room was quiet; traffic noise was never an issue. We appreciated that we could ask for and receive daily room service. The bed was comfortable, the pillows exceptionally nice.
