The soundproofing is not very good. It is quite noisy on Sundays. I live on the fourth floor and the floor squeaks. It may be old-fashioned. The radiator is not very hot.

The location is visible as soon as you exit Newcastle Station. The room is really clean.
The building is old, so it is difficult to go straight to the room by elevator.

Great hotel which has kept it's grandeur. The room was spotless and the decor was minimalistic which was in keeping with hotel. It was a great price and I will stay again. Staff were friendly.
