Was a little far from the center of Nikko and traffic started backing up all the way to this hotel. Good thing is we rented bikes and rode into town thus bypassing all the traffic. The onsen was ok and the rooms were ok too.

The hotel is a bit like an old Western villa style, the room facilities are a bit old, the baths and open-air baths are better than expected, and the dinner is rich

The restaurant overlooking the garden had a nice atmosphere. Dinner was a full course French meal served by foreign staff, so it had an exotic feel and a more authentic feel. The hot springs and rooms are old facilities, so I was wondering what other people's reviews were, but it turned out to be fine.

About 10 minutes by bus from Tobu Nikko Station, right next to the Nikko Botanical Garden stop. Along the way, there is a stop called ``Shinkyo'', which is close to the approach to Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The nearest bus stop is for Chuzenji Onsen, making it convenient for going to Kegon Falls. The exterior is a three-story Western-style building surrounded by trees, and the interior and large public bath (hot spring) with open-air bath were well-maintained and lovely. This is a hotel that I would like to stay at regularly.

Located in a quiet place, you can see the hot springs at night and see the stars. Botanical Garden nearby. There are many sightseeing spots such as Tojo Palace. I would like to stay again

A unique hotel with a large bath, free parking, dinner and breakfast. The breakfast is rich and the environment is beautiful, but the coffee is average. There is free self-service laundry, but the drying service is weak. Not too close to Nikko Station, you have to take a bus

The room was average. The air conditioner tripped in the middle of the night. There was no one at the front desk at 11 o'clock, and no one was on duty. I had to wait for a long time before the staff came. It was not fixed. I changed the room and the service was average.

There are also hot springs, so you can relax during your trip. There is nothing wrong with that. The morning meal was delicious and relaxing. The amenities were plentiful!

The environment is quiet, there is a bus stop directly at the door, and the hot springs are comfortable. It's just that the shops in Nikko close too early. They all close after 6 o'clock. The rest of the time can only be spent in the hotel. There is a convenience store a few minutes away.

The hotel is extremally well located and has a very good private onsen. The bedrooms are a bit old and there was no food (breakfast, lunch or dinner) due to a local holiday. The location and access to public transportation in king. I would stay there again if I return to Nikko.

Rooms are good. Excellent for Japan in that the rooms are a bit bigger - which is good if you’re 200 cm or 6’ 6”. But the best part of it was the French food at the restaurant. We had a 5 course set menu - food of the best quality! Good ingredients and very well prepared.

When I opened the door, I had the impression that it was a business hotel. There is a twin bed on the left side of the aisle, a counter on the right side, and a two-seater sofa behind it. There is a 32-inch TV on the counter, but it is about 3 meters away from the sofa, which is difficult for people of our age in terms of size and distance, so I have to watch it from the bed next to me. However, my neck gets tired when I lie down, and I get tired even when I sit down to watch because there is no backrest. There were no other facilities to kill time, so I had a lot of time to spare. Other than taking a hot spring bath, there is only a reading (comics) corner and billiards in the lobby. I didn't have the courage to play billiards (noisy) in front of the front desk, and I didn't feel like reading a book, so I decided to go to bed early. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and before I left, there was a lot of news about Gionellus bacteria in the hot springs, so I decided to take a bath in the room, but personally, the bathroom was a big negative point. I was relieved because the bathtub was the same size as my home, but the bathtub, toilet, and sink were all in one set in a space of about 1.5 tsubo. There is a faucet and shower head on the left wall of the bathtub, and there is a lever on the faucet to switch between filling and showering, but this doesn't work properly, and when I got into the bathtub, the water kept draining out. The next morning, my wife said that although the water didn't drain, she couldn't wash her hair because the shower didn't work. Also, although there seemed to be a good selection of skin care products for women, there was nothing for men to use except for hair dryers. If you go to the front desk, there are brushes and razors, but I would have been happy if they had at least hair tonic and lotion. What you definitely want to put a big X on is the bathroom drainage. It's on a reverse slope, and water collects in front of the entrance, so my feet are soaked when I go to the bathroom or washbasin the next morning. So, I couldn't even use the toilet in my room after changing my clothes. What made me even more uncomfortable was that there was a space on the wall of the bathtub to put bar soap, but there was a used toothbrush there, and I don't know who put it there. It may have been used for cleaning, but my wife was furious. Also, about half of the bathtub was equipped with glass to prevent splashing from the shower, which was not easy to use, but I also felt that it lacked beauty. The food was delicious in the French style, where if you sat down for breakfast and dinner, you would be served the food in a French style. What about something like beef yokan to end dinner? ? ? But.
