Hotels Near Font de les Tortugues in Palma de Mallorca

Hotel location is good, just a few minutes walk from the old town. But not downtown. The rooms are very tall (relative to Germany and the Netherlands). The beds are 1.5 meters wide. There is a Spanish desk on the TV in the TV. The bathroom is particularly large. The only bad thing was the room on the side of the road. The car outside the window was louder early in the morning. Downstairs is the Chinese restaurant outside the building, opened by Zhejiang aunt. Go to work at 1 in the afternoon. Hotel service is also good.

From the lovely welcome - a chilled glass of Cava as we arrived, the wonderful staff at this great little hotel made this a perfect place to stay. The hotel is set in an old tile factory, with beautiful tiles displayed around the building and in every room. An easy stroll into the old town and on bus routes around Mallorca. I can’t remember staying in a hotel where the staff are so helpful, friendly and kind - can’t wait to go back. Gracias, sentimos que hemos hecho nuevos amigos

We were excited to stay at Belle Marivent while we were in Majorca for a wedding but sadly - overall - we were left disappointed. Firstly, the positives - the reception area is gorgeous, and almost lulls you into a false sense of security. Smells lovely and looks lovely and actually Lucia on reception was really great. The rooftop pool is also great, albeit extremely small with barely anywhere to sunbathe. The hotel itself just gives the overall feel it is very understaffed and is doing anything it can to save money. The rooms are crammed into an extremely tiny area - your sink is practically at your bedside, there is no bathroom per se but just tiny rooms of a shower and a toilet. Breakfast is really awful. All three mornings they had 'run out of yoghurt because it went off'. With a supermarket down the road, they could have easily replaced this. There was only one waiter in the room on each morning. This meant the (extremely limited) buffet frequently ran out, and was not replaced unless you got up and walked to the kitchen/bar area to ask the waiter/waitress to replace it. The jugs of water were empty for around 15 minutes which was really frustrating. When ordering a hot breakfast prepare to wait 20 minutes for it to come, even if there is literally no one else in the restaurant. Another shocking moment was when I called reception and asked for a small jug of fresh milk to have with my self made coffee from the coffee machine in our room, as I really dislike the tiny long-life milk pods. I was told sorry there is no fresh milk. I asked whether I could just be brought some from the kitchen - to be told that the restaurant is not in fact connected to the hotel at all. Just found this baffling, as I've never ever been refused some fresh milk at a hotel before. The coffee cups in our room were also dusty and unclean. Lastly, while the man on reception and Lucia were great, the cleaning staff were extremely rude. We were getting ready for a wedding that started at 2pm so naturally we were showering/getting ready at 11am. The cleaners repeatedly banged on our doors insisting they needed to come in. When we said we needed another 20 mins or so, we were met with eye rolls and sighs. I understand it must be frustrating as they have a schedule, but it is also a very small hotel. All in all, I would say the Belle Marivent is absolutely not worth the price we paid. A few glimmers of greatness but overall a disappointment.

Absolutely lovely hotel by Son Vida golf course. We used a family room with twin beds and a sofa bed -- there was plenty of space for all three of us (couple and a child). The room was clean and equipped with everything you'd normally find in a proper 5* hotel. The mattresses are a bit on the firm side and the pillows very very soft, but for a few days one could adjust to them. The outdoor pool area is stunning and very well maintained. There's always a lifeguard on site, sometimes even two, supervising both the outdoor and the indoor pools. The sauna is great and very hot. I also really enjoyed the breakfast here -- very good quality food, good diversity .. particularly the fruits, the breads. They have a juicing machine and you can make your own fruits/veggie juice in the morning. The staff, all around, are great -- polite and helpful (not to forget multilingual). A good four stars. Hotel close to the airport (taxi 14 euros, no ubers in Mallorca). I was lucky enough to have a terrace room (first floor room) where you walk from your balcony directly onto the terrace overlooking the pool. I reckon these rooms are best unless you're obsessed with a sea view in which case go above 5th floor. Hotel breakfast is good- lots of choice. Also an inexpensive cafe / bar on poolside with very friendly staff. The hotel was peaceful when we were there- slept well and beds pretty comfortable. Very very close to the beach- 3 mins walk - and then you're on the beachfront which has an almost unlimited abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars. One cautionary note about the restaurants nearby - be careful with the reviews many look to be inflated / fake so choose carefully. Lots of mini-supermarkets - the best within 5 mins walk is carrefour express.

Excellent. Several bus stops available, many restaurants and bars, the possibility to extend the sea coast is just in front. Breakfast included in the formula. The skybar is beautiful and restful, as is for the lobby of host/spain relaxation. The room was very clean, the room was reserved with a balcony and views on the sea. Small bemol sometimes hears his room neighbors but nothing bad for me. I recommend this hotel.

Stayed here from in the first week in February 2022 . I have to say it was a rather good experience. Staff excellent, rooms adequate, and cleaned every day . The breakfast was a decent start to the day . The bar in reception is a local bar full of great local characters. The hotel was reasonable priced and the bar prices excellent. In high season it is a rowdy area so low season is probably best if you don’t want the to mingle with the rowdy crowd

Good location, the beach is just across the road. Lots of stores, suppermarkets, restaurants nearby hotel. A2 Express bus from airport to hotel one way €5, only 1 mins walk from stop to hotel. Breakfast and dinner are with reasonable choices, good enough to make you full but not quite tasty. Plenty of fresh fruits which is awesome. Seaview from hotel restaurants and rooftop pool is lovely.

If one wants to visit the El Arenal Area of Palma de Mallorca, the Hotel has the ideal location. It is easy to reach by Bus A51 (only two stops from the Airport), which already departs at 5 a.m. in the morning on the way back and therefore making it possible to reach flights departing at 6:30 a.m. without the need of an otherwise expensive Taxi. 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Receptionist on duty was from Austria, therefore she spoke, besides Spanish and English of course, fluent German - which is quite common in Palma. The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful A/C, but the walls are really thin. One can hear everything that is going on in other rooms as well as outside.
