Had a 10 day stay at this resort after making a last minute hotel switch. I certainly do not regret having made the change. The place is quiet, food is delicious and staff goes the extra mile in trying to accomodate the guest. Will certainly be back and will highly recommend

We hebben hier een fijne week gehad. De locatie is perfect om Paramaribo te voet te ontdekken. Ontbijt compleet en lekker! Zwembad op het terrein is klein maar erg fijn. Wil je meer kun je ook gebruik maken van het torarica hotel zwembad/ontbijt. Fijne kamer, echter het was prettig geweest als je de airco zelf in kan stellen/iets warmer zetten, want het temperatuur verschil met buiten is groot. Vriendelijke mensen!

Dit is een prima hotel op een prima locatie; Fort Zeelandia en het Onafhankelijkheidsplein liggen op loopafstand. Fietsverhuurbedrijf zit aan de overkant. Het hotel is onderdeel van de Torarica-familie, maar beter betaalbaar dan de zuster-hotels. Je kunt op het terrein naar de Suriname-rivier lopen. Daar is ook een bar en een klein zwembad. De kamers zijn sober maar netjes en schoon. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. De airco is goed en stil (kan alleen niet uit, dus er wordt veel stroom verspild overdag). De kamers aan de voorkant hebben wel wat last van het verkeer. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verbeterpunt: juist op het moment dat er veel nieuwe gasten arriveren (einde middag, na aankomst van o.a. KLM-vlucht) is er weinig personeel bij de receptie (telkens maar één medewerker) zodat het (wachten op het) inchecken erg lang duurt.

Eco Torarica is a very pleasant place to stay, Every aspect of Hospitality is excellent. It's a very cosy environment with a lot of green to enjoy.

This was the chosen hotel in Paramaribo during our tour around the Guianas and it proved to be a good choice. The room was a bit small but clean enough and had the essentials. The breakfast was decent, though you needed to remain on your toes as the local wildlife seemed to want to share it with you.
