Hotels in 8th arrondissement-Elysee, Paris

The atmosphere is wonderful, from the lobby to the restaurant and guest rooms. True to its heritage, each and every detail is exquisite, reflecting the charm of a traditional French hotel. From the pool to the gym and sauna, there was nothing I didn't like. The bed was a bit squishy, which was a bit uncomfortable for me, but the bedding was excellent. The location is second to none.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic for a few hundred bucks in Paris. The location is excellent, right on a lively street but surprisingly quiet. The subway station is just a two-minute walk away. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and the rooms felt new and spacious.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times owing to the warm welcome, size of rooms for a Parisian hotel and moreover the fantastic location. A couple of *******, however, on this trip - I arrived late having travelling from the other side of the world only to have no key access (and quite a bit of disturbance when I wanted to sleep…knocking on door for a replacement key after midnight…). Also the room wasn’t topped up with amenities once cleaned…towels / coffee capsules / even the bathroom. All sorted very quick but housekeeping lady was a little too forward in wanting to come and sort as I was getting ready…! I was literally in my towel. Minor but important to raise as the hotel is not the cheapest and these are quick wins. Rest of the stay great.

I had a wonderful stay during my trip to Paris! What impressed me the most was a front desk staff named Badis. I greeted him in Arabic, and he responded with such warmth and surprise, which made the interaction very special and personal. The overall service was warm- l highly recommended this hotel! 💖

Everything else is good, especially the front desk staff is very welcoming, which is rare in Europe. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Arc de Triomphe. The bathroom facilities are of poor standard and very average.

It's right next to the Champs Elysées. It's very convenient to go everywhere. It's especially recommended for people who like shopping. It may be noisy on weekend nights. Overall, the price/performance ratio is quite high.

The location is very good. You can take a bus directly from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the Paris Opera, which is within walking distance from the hotel. The subway and bus around the hotel are very convenient, and it is convenient to go to various attractions. Shopping stores such as the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Department Store and various famous brands are close at hand. Supermarkets, fruit stores and Chinese restaurants surround the hotel. It is quiet in the bustling city, very quiet at night, and safe around. The hotel room is small, the room has no odor, and there is a kettle.

Not just for this hotel but when choosing the room I would like to have the option of choosing the exact room on the site plan for the view and choose the level of the room.

One receptionist was truly exceptional and she went above and beyond whenever asked for a favor. however there was another employee he had a terrible attitude even when I mentioned that my phone was not working he replied “what can I do about it” such people should not be in a client facing position at all especially that both the elevator and phone was not working at the time. He needs to learn to be accommodating, friendly or else quit this job as it makes the whole institution look bad.

It is very convenient for sightseeing near the center of Paris. It is also convenient to dine in the room because famous department stores are nearby and you can buy famous store dishes, cold wine and beer in the basement of the department store. (Because it is a famous store, you can get plastic knives, forks and napkins) As expected, I bought a glass of plastic at a supermarket in the basement of Saint Lazare station. (6 pieces for 2.9 euros) It was very convenient to eat out as you could walk to the Passage Panorama. It was nice to have an old man who speaks Katakoto Japanese at the front desk. However, 2/3 of the guests are Japanese and there is no chance of being in Paris.
