The room was very small and the toilets are really tiny one person can barely fit in the shower The breakfast did not have enough offer and a few items (such as the butter) were expired and other to be expired on the day The room smelled like sewers most nights and it was coming from the toilet The walls are really thin so we could hear conversations in the rooms next to us and above us. You can hear trains untill late night. There’s a club nearby so at weekends you’ll hear a LOT of noise coming from there Statt was not unpleasant but weren’t warm either.

There is something about this hotel that takes you back to times past. Loved the winding staircase, the grafitti on the walls. We stayed in the urban room, which was minimalist, with concrete pipe sections for some of the furniture, street style paintings on the walls, ceiling beams painted red. View from the room was out onto a square which was fascinating to see the various characters throughout the day. very comfortable bed, decent shower room. Breakfast is taken down in the cellar, past more grafitti on the walls, loved it. Breakfast is more in the traditional french style, with bread and croissant served in a basket supplememted by cereal and yogurt. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This hotel may not be to everyone's taste, but we loved it. The atmosphere and the location were good. Would visit again.

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The water pressure was though very good and combined shower gel/shampoo is provided as are ample towels which are s

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

It is a fully renovated hotel with no odor. The facilities are new and complete. The decoration is very stylish. The bed is very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. The hotel has a rich breakfast. I enjoy the leisure time of drinking a cup of coffee in the hotel's open-air corridor. The reception at the front desk is warm , every hotel staff member I meet will take the initiative to say hello. What is particularly surprising is that some of the staff can speak Chinese, making communication hassle-free throughout the process. They will also introduce delicious and fun places nearby. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Paris.

I was just there and tried to make a booking for tomorrow night. I’m staying nearby and have to extend, but my hotel is booked. When I first walked in, the young woman at the desk barely acknowledged me. She glanced up and barely said “yes? Then looked back down. Meanwhile both she and the older man working with her were super warm and friendly to the older white man who was in line right in front of me. I waited after he left and again, the woman went “yeah.” I waited. She finally stopped what she was doing, and mumbled “good evening,” I politely greeted her back, then asked about pricing. Long story short both employees were just rude and dismissive the whole interaction. The old guy told me to book online when I was standing right there. I said I’d like to just book there and he told me “well you’ll need an ID and bank card,” but he said it like he was saying I’d need a million dollars. It was weird. I almost went next door to get my stuff, but I changed my mind. Not sure if it was racism or what, but I’ve never seen hotel staff behave that way when a person is trying to give them business. They didn’t seem like they wanted me to stay there. I need a room for tomorrow night, but I will find another place to stay. Even if I have to pay much more, I’m not going back there. Employees like those ones make hotels lose money. They’re a liability. How can someone be working the night shift at a budget hotel in Bagnolet and snubbing potential guests? The audacity… Just be nice. It’s not that hard. On top of all that, the hotel is not in a good area at all. I’ve attached photos.

The front desk staffs were helpful but the manager didn’t fulfil our request. I spent high amount money for just one night with Eiffel Tower view and come earlier than other customers, when we go to the room we found a mosquito on the bed, so we asked for changing room in higher floor but be rejected. And people who came later were arranged to higher floor. I just felt being discriminated! However, the view and location is good but service and attitude needed to be improved!!

The hotel is located in an area that from what I could tell was undergoing transformation from what was probably a light commercial and office area being replaced by new apartment buildings which the hotel was part of and while the area was nice it wasn’t really convenient to anything. On the morning I needed a taxi the hotel tried booking me one but none were available in the area and I walked about two kilometres before I was able to hail one down. This is an apartment hotel and doesn’t provide all the traditional services you would get at a hotel but this one comes pretty close. A small lobby with some seating and vending machines and another area with some lounges and a game table. My room 311 had a handy entry area with a small shelf ideal for your keys and other small items and some coat hooks. The bathroom is off to one side and had a large open shower with just a shower curtain in my room which I think was because it was a disabled room. The shower was a good size but the floor of the shower which was a prefabricated tray didn’t feel as it was properly attached to the floor and had a fair bit of movement. The main room was a good size for Paris and had everything I needed for my short three night stay including a comfortable bed, desk with convenient power outlets and a kitchen which was well stocked with the items you would need on a daily basis for a short stay but more specialized appliances were available to borrow at the front desk like food processor, croc pot and crepe maker I think it was which was a good idea. Overall the room had a nice modern contemporary feeling and more than enough space. Being an apartment hotel concept the rooms are only serviced every seven days which is something to be aware of. I chose this hotel as it was closer to the place I needed to collect my leased car from and given that the French Open was on at the time my options were limited and the hotel had parking but as it turned out I didn’t need it as there was plenty of free street parking right outside the hotel on the two nights I needed it. I really like the Adagio chain of apartments in Europe and this was another great one.

Stayed here to be close to Disneyland, only 12 minute walk to the park!!! It’s the closest non-Disney hotel to the park, and very glad we chose it. The room itself was good, a little apartment with all the amenities you would need, nothing fancy but good! Bed was comfy, shower was nice. Staff friendly, easy to check in. (first time using trip.com for anything and was worried our booking was going to be non-existent as the price was so cheap compared to other websites, but it was all fine!) It’s also close to the main shopping centre in val d’europe (about a 14 minute walk). the train station in val d’europe is a little further walk, we found that walking to Marne la ville chessy train station at Disneyland was actually closer and faster to get too! All in all, would highly recommend here if you want to be very close to Disneyland, dont bother using shuttles and things, just walk!

GGuest UserLocation is actually a bit far from the city center and the nearest metro is line 14 which closes at around 10pm due to the renovation so plan your trip carefully or else you'd have to find a bus to drop you off near the hotel. The hotel is around a 2-3 mins walk to Bercy Village. Quite clean and spacious for a room in Paris. I would recommend this hotel. Oh and by the way, some of a amenities are not provided in the room but if you ask the front desk staff, they would give it. Just a little mishap with the front desk staff during our stay, we didn't have the daily 2 bottles of water after checking in and when we called down to the front desk, they were ”sure” that they put them in but there was nothing. :/ The photo of the fridge was the two drinks that we bought over from a Carrefour nearby. They said they would come up to check and never did... But I had some other amenities to get from them so eventually they came up and checked the fridge. No apologies from the staff for the misunderstanding and he just went out of the room to get two bottles of water for us. Quite a strange service attitude from them.

AAvelineI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris. First, the location. I can walk to the major landmarks like River Seine, Louvre, 'Dorsay museum, Notre Dame, etc. It is located close to St Germaine, so there are many charming streets to roam about and many options for food and supplies. I feel safe wandering around on my own as a solo female traveller. Second, the place is tastefully decorated. I like my room which has windows that overlook the streets as well as the decor. The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices. The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright. Third, the staff. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me. I would like to commend her for her great personality and attitude, but I missed getting her name. The other staff I met are equally friendly and nice (two young ladies, one named Li/Yang; and another gentleman). Even if they don't know something, they will look up the information for me. They will also provide me with recommendations. I also must compliment the driver who picked me up from the airport and drove me to the airport (hotel transfers). He is very polite and considerate and he makes me feel at ease when i was travelling in his car. Even the gentleman who helped me with my luggage wore a big smile on his face. Thank you to everyone I've met during my stay and which made my experience a pleasant one. I learned only on my last day that they have another sister hotel a few steps away. One of the staff recognized me and invited me to take a look inside. Again, the place is tastefully done. If I have a chance to be back in Paris, I will check out both Artus Hotel as well as this hotel. I would also like to take this opportunity to make a request to the guests who are going to stay in the hotel - let's make an effort to treat the room as if it is our own. That way, the hotel will stay in a good condition for a longer time and future guests will get to enjoy the stay as much as I did. Thank you :)

GGuest UserI first stayed at this Hotel in 2014 and was very impressed with the entire experience, so I valued this hotel and always wanted to return… 8 years later and I was extremely disappointed. I booked a superior villa room, and we was given room 6. This room is located on the ground floor directly behind the reception reception desk on the ground floor. The receptionist (skinny white male, 40+ years old) who checked us in on 15/12/22 at 11:30pm was very rude, awkward and sarcastic during the check in process. When we got to our room, we felt it lacked privacy being on the ground floor with only a wall between us and the main reception area, the Toilet was also in a separate room with no sink, meaning anyone who uses that toilet would need to open the door with their dirty hands and walk all the way to the bathroom to wash hands. There were also mascara stains on one of the pillows. We requested if we could change to another room on a higher floor but to the same level for what we had paid for (superior villa room). The receptionist said this was fine, and changed us over to another room on the 5th floor. We were really happy and grateful until we got to the room, only to find this room was actually a downgrade to a ‘classic villa room’ which felt much smaller and wasn’t very nice. This also wasn’t explained to us prior to him changing our rooms over. We returned to reception and asked why we had been out in a downgraded room, his response was he didn’t realise and this was a mistake in his behalf. I asked him if there were any other rooms to the same value as what I had paid for the superior room available on another floor. I was told out of the entire hotel there was only two rooms left, the one behind reception, or the classic room on the 5th floor which would be a downgrade. We reluctantly opted to stay with the original room behind reception. The receptionist was very smug and seemed to find this funny. After settling in and falling asleep… 6:30am a motorbike wakes us up, as our room is located beside the main entrance and reception we hear every car or motorbike dropping off, or picking up guests, and every person checking in or out. 7:15am the bins are collected, again very loud and as our room is right next to this area we hear it all. It really seems standards have significantly dropped since we last stayed. Service seems to be poor and cleanliness of the hotel not as good as before, an overall terrible experience and if it wasn’t so late when we checked in I would’ve booked another hotel because the receptionist was so rude. On a side note, I must also say there was another receptionist who was working the night shift the following day (16/12/22) around 10pm and he was very friendly, helpful and a nice person. If I could give him 5 stars I would, but unfortunately the experience with the initial receptionist meant our experience was already tainted by this point. I doubt we will ever return unfortunately, and cannot recommend, unless your guaranteed a decent room on a higher floor.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent as it’s walking distance away from Eiffel Tower, eateries and other amenities. The service was also up to expectations. One advice would be to fasten the check in process as we were waiting for up to 30 mins though there was not much queue.

GGuest UserA Stunning Aesthetic Marred by Disappointing Service My recent stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts allowed me to immerse myself in the splendor of the awe-inspiring interior design crafted by Raphel Navot and indulge in the allure of the popular rooftop bar, which undoubtedly left a positive and lasting impression. The interior design of the hotel was a masterpiece in itself, with Raphel Navot's talent evident in every detail. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall guest experience. Additionally, the rooftop bar provided breathtaking views of Paris, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. Regrettably, the overall experience was overshadowed by a combination of disappointments, notably the service at the ground floor cafe. The male employee with a beard exhibited a dismissive and inattentive demeanor during my interactions with him. His lack of attentiveness made me feel overlooked, leaving me hesitant to further explore the cafe's offerings. While I typically do not demand exceptional service, this level of inattentiveness fell short even of my usual expectations. This attitude displayed by this specific employee overshadowed the positive hospitality offered by all other employees at the hotel, leaving a bittersweet impression of the overall service. Furthermore, my stay was marred by a billing issue, resulting in double charging for my fully prepaid reservation. Such an oversight was embarrassing. On a positive note, I must commend the other hotel staff, particularly those at the reception and rooftop bar areas, for their accommodating nature, contributing to a more pleasant overall experience. In conclusion, Hôtel Dame des Arts undoubtedly showcased a dedication to exceptional design and ambiance. However, the combination of one inattentive employee and the billing concerns left me with a mixed impression. I firmly believe that fostering a culture of attentive and respectful service, along with diligent billing practices, is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. By addressing these issues, Hôtel Dame des Arts can elevate its reputation and ensure that every guest is treated with the care and professionalism they rightfully deserve. A seamless harmony of remarkable aesthetics and attentive service will undoubtedly make for an even more remarkable stay at this captivating hotel.

AAnonymous UserAccessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

FFARSIWhile the location is outstanding the hotel lacks key service like restaurants, room service and concierge . Only one person at the front desk who is always busy doing everything ( check in and out, cashier, housekeeping, information, etc. ) you have to wait for along time to be answered on any questions!!! I have notified the hotel ahead of time that we are on our honeymoon and requested a king size bed but ended up with two beds!!? and there is not any honeymoon arrangements

AAnonymous UserHotel front desk and concierge is very friendly and helpful . Staffs in the lounge bar and restaurant are very warm and friendly too. Room is very big in Paris standard. Room design is tasteful, graceful yet modern. The only thing annoyed me very much is that the housekeepers are very rude. Everything else seems fine, except the controlling pad surface is a bit dusty. I lived there for 3 nights, everyday there are someone coming to my room without knocking the door or telling me who that is. First day I was quite shocked, I thought it was my problem because I didn't turn on the 'Do not disturb' light. That's fine. The second day, I had the 'Do not disturb' light on, someone(housekeeper) still opened my door without knocking the door or telling me who that is. That was very awkward. I feel no privacy in the room as someone could just come into your room without any notice . That annoyed me very much. I mean, what is the point of 'Do not disturb' button ??!! Later I turned off the 'Do not disturb' light and turned on 'Please make up room' light. I went out of the room and saw the housekeeper in the there. I kindly asked her could she make up my room for me. She seems unhappy and told me that It is too late and she is off already . Come on, it was only 4pm, and I am going to stay there another night. I came back after one hour , saw the ' Please make up room' light still on, so I didn't expect my room was made. Luckily someone cleaned my room but didn't turned off the light. Then it was the 3rd day, I had the late check out till 3pm and I had the 'Do not disturb' light on. You know what happened? The housekeeper opened my door without any notice again while I was in the room and said DO NOT DISTURB. It was obvious light color and I am really annoyed by that. If it happened once , ok. But everyday for 3 consecutive days ???! All the other staffs are fine but I do think it lacks housekeeping training. It ruined all the privacy and trust etc. If it is only for the room, and concierge etc I like it. The housekeeping is terrible and disappointing.

LLimReview from Singapore ! I arrive 8am. Too early for my checkin . Went to counter. As I cannot speak French but I am fluent in English . Was kind of worried. I was attended to by a very very nice lady with a big big smile ! I did not managed to ask her name but she was slightly plump, wear glasses and long hair and she cycle to work . She did the luggage storage for me . Of coz I did the labeling and putting onto the luggage myself . Then when I ask for recommendation of a place to eat , she recommend my cafe D industries ..(hope I did not spell it wrongly ). Very near to hotel . Room was very well equipped. Small kitchen . Microwave . Iron board. Separate toilet . Shower room . Everything was just nice and Cosy. Very near to many Metro station. Need to supermarket . Turn right walk down is Main Street. A lot of food hotel has own launderette so you can also wash clothing in hotel . ( but need to download apps, very easy.) Thursday just outside the hotel have a long stretch of morning market . Nice to walk . Cook food. Raw food. Fruits. Just like market . Nice experience . Overall, I am very happy with the hotel , the location . The well equipment and room space was nice To the management, please convey my thanks to the 2 staff below . . To reemphasize, 2 staff left a dee impression for me , the counter long hair plump lady. I give her service and kindness = 9.5/10 for everything including let me check in luggage, show my where to eat, let me check in 2 pm. Her smile was lovely And before I check out , a short cleaning staff ( black guy) assisted me with the launderette. Very helpful . He is really helpful with me even though he cannot speak English well. Everyone !! Do not hesitate to stay here ! I strongly recommend U. This is an service apartment . And it is very very good.

GGuest UserThe hotel had poor standard, the decor was worn and old, but nice price and clean. It was closed to subway, and not to far for walking to attraktions. Some of the staff spoke French rather than English, so communication was difficult. Ordered continental breakfast when booking the hotel, but wanted gluten-free. Tried to get in contact with the hotel several times via email and explain, but they newer answered. When we arrived they couldn’t help us, so had to go to the grocery store and buy my own breakfast, without compensation.
