Lovely old hotel, still a lovely place but, sadly, showing it's age in some minor areas (aren't we all!).
Excellent, helpful and attentive Staff.
Good selection of food, well presented and very enjoyable.
We stayed for one night, on two occasions, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Many thanks to the Management and Staff.

Breakfast was surprisingly large portions, good cooked quality. Cold buffet was limited. Service was a bit slow. Bed was very comfy. Good to have a window that opened and a fan in the bedroom. Had dinner in the restaurant first night and the chicken was delicious. TV channels in the room were limited depending on the weather. Good option for Penzance as a base then use the bus to get around.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is nothing good about it except the location by the sea.
The window in the room was covered with dust, and the bathroom floor was very dirty.
There was no room service during the 3 days of stay, and I didn't see any cleaning staff to clean the bedding in the hotel for 3 days. I seriously doubt the hygiene of the hotel.
The hotel breakfast is extremely simple, and it is also the worst English breakfast I have ever had in the UK. The salad on the menu is actually canned...
So, I booked for 3 days, but I ate cereal with cold milk for 3 days.
The staff was also very unfriendly. Since I was with my children, I couldn't find a hotel temporarily and was forced to stay.
I don't know why Ctrip wants to help advertise this hotel. I suggest you choose it carefully.
