We've loved Mousehole for quite some time now and decided to spend Christmas there this year. Despite unknowingly arriving on Tom Bawcocks Eve when The Ship was exceptionally busy (standing room only!) nothing was too much trouble. This continued throughout our stay. We were there four nights in all and cannot fault any element of it. Louise welcomed us and despite everything going on in the pub at the time she made sure we were shown our room (personally) and slotted us in for something to eat that night. Our double room was clean, comfy, bright and airy and overlooked the harbour (what more could you want!). Our room was checked and replenished daily which was appreciated. We were looked after by Lisa during breakfast at the start of our stay and it was a pleasure. The menu catered for all with a choice of meat, vegetarian and vegan cooked breakfast options, along with the continental style breakfast buffet which was well stocked. All of the staff went above and beyond on Christmas Day. It all ran seamlessly from our perspective. It wasn't rushed, the food was excellent and more than enough to see us through to the next day! We had a wonderful stay and can't thank all the staff enough, we will be back.

Place was amazing as we got there for the light switch on, the pub was a very welcoming place and so were the staff and management . Rooms were functional and roomy. Meals were amazing and breakfast choices too, well I can’t say enough just go and give it a try

Tiny town with even tinier roads. We initially missed the car park closest to the inn and had to drive out and around to come back down into town. However once we parked we were directly across the Harbour from the inn. Everyone was friendly. Our room had a great view of the Harbour right out the window. The room was clean and comfortable, however the room was definitely not well sound proofed. I think it was the saloon door to the kitchen that could be heard from our room every time someone went in and out of it. Other than that, it was a great stay. Food was good, we enjoyed the breakfast options and the surrounding areas was very cute. We would stay again, but maybe bring our ear plugs ;)

We had a lovely room that overlooked the harbour. It was warm and well-equipped with quality touches. When we arrived Ben was very helpful and let us check in early, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent and Lisa a great host. Highly recommended.

This pub is so well situated, right on the harbour. It is quaint, cosy cornish inside with lots of history. The views from the windows are fabulous! Warm welcome on arrival and their food and drink selection catered for all. I came to see the famous Christmas lights, and they are all right out of the door here and easily accessible. This is a great place to while away a few hours and stay over in their hotel, which I did last year. Special thanks to Dan, Zoe, Ben and chef Jaden for your hospitality (I must try your Stargazy pie sometime, it sounds amazing!)

We had a fantastic weekend away at this lovely establishment. The place was clean and comfortable, but the thing that made it so great were the staff. They were welcoming, attentive and friendly. Would love to return and take our little furry friend next time
