Hotels Near Annie’s Landing (Banrock) Park in Perth

this is a relax space for slowing down life speed. good environment although there is not much facility but the atmosphere is good to rest and reset body. there is a restaurant provides food daily without going far away in good price and quality. comfortable bed inside room and tidy. a coffee machine with free coffee for guests is warmly welcomed. highly recommended and considered will come again with my family.

We got a unit that says no window and since there is no other places with decent price and this is the only one that looks decently priced we tried for 1 night and we were very surprised with the outcome. It's nice and even without a window it's by far one of the most cleanest and nicest hotel we have stayed so far. It's right beside the car park and tucked away at a corner but that didn't bother us. We love it actually. It's also on ground floor so we didn't had to climb stairs or wait for lift. The check in was seamless with automatic check in. Amenities is great. Distance was a bit far from station but it's a good exercise and walk!

The young lady at the reception at around 6 pm on the evening of Apirl 10 was excellent !! When learning that my luggage was left in the taxi taking me from Perth airport to this hotel and the taxi was gone, she helped me enormously. 1) Sharing what she knew about the results of previous similar cases; 2) Lending me her own cell phone, so that I could call the police; 3) Helping me several times with my communication with the local police. We upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. We could not get near enough to the hotel on arrival to park and check in. There is a small very narrow lane way that runs from Wellington St to Murray St with no indication of which way the traffic flows. We parked up eventually on Murray St in a multi storey and fortunately our one suit case was easily wheeled the 100 metres or so to the hotel. The hotel info was all available on the room tv screen. I checked breakfast times and saw it was served up to 10-30 am on a weekend. Next morning we arrived at breakfast at 9-45 am. The waiter looked somewhat taken aback. There was only enough orange juice for 1 person, the tank on the tea maker was dry, there was no butter or bacon. The water tank was refilled, butter produced. The chef lifted the lid of the scrambled eggs and they looked disgusting. I asked the waiter if we could have a fried egg. He had to go find the chef. He cooked the eggs, burnt on the bottom runny white on the top. My breakfast at a cost of $30 consisted of one slice of toast 3 mushrooms, half a scoop of congealed baked beans and half of a very sad looking tomato, plus the delicious burnt egg, one cup of black tea. I heard the waiter and chef grumbling together about breakfast times and their attitude prevented me from complaining and asking for fresh food. It transpired that breakfast time had been changed to finish at 10am. The receptionist enlightened me as we checked out next day. There was still a sign on reception saying that breakfast on a weekend lasted until 10 -30am. Needless to say we breakfasted elsewhere next day. It's a soul less hotel, with about as much vibe as a grave yard. We used the fantastic bar of the new Novotel directly behind Rydges. I also found we could have stayed there at a cheaper rate! Will not be returning.

Stayed here for 3 nights, arriving after long flight from UK. No problem checking in, room in quiet location as requested. Some construction work going on at back of hotel, but nothing that disturbed me in the evening. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Corridor and room carpets could do with replacing, but I guess that is a big expense after the last few years. Breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of choice. The hot buffet was all fresh and frequently replenished. The young man in the restaurant (sorry I don't know your name), was very helpful and polite. Reception were helpful in booking a very early morning airport taxi for me, and on the morning of departure made certain that I safely got into my taxi. As a solo female traveller, it's the little details like that that mean so much. I would definitely return if i was visiting Perth again

The staff is warm and friendly, this is the cheapest budget hotel in the CBD. Walking distance to various restaurants. The only negative aspect is that the hotel has no parking space and can't park on the side of the road, although during the day, safety is difficult to guarantee and expensive.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Strongly recommend this venue. Greeted by helpful staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable. Nothing is too difficult for them. Very clean rooms with crisp sheets. Perfectly cooked and presented breakfast with a wide range of options.

Spacious, complete with home appliances, as well as washing and drying sets and dishwashers, and all kitchen utensils for cooking. There are special desks and dining tables. It is very close to kings park, and the environment inside and outside is good.

I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch. The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance. Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay. Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience.
