This is probably a hotel that once had its glory days, but is currently in a state of decay and poor maintenance.
I made a reservation for a twin room. On the day of check-in, I sent an email reinforcing the need for two single beds and requesting extra pillows and special attention to cleaning. The management (despite the many employees present in the lobby) completely ignored the request, even though there were several rooms available.
When I entered the room, I found a room with a double bed, so I went to the reception to have the error corrected. The bathroom in this first room was not in good condition either. They replaced the room and then, lo and behold, in the second room there was a dead cockroach inside it, mold and, once again, a bathroom with a rusty, peeling bathtub and a filthy toilet seat!
We went to the third room!
The windows were dirty and dusty, and there was only one working socket, and even then it was so old that it couldn't even hold a phone charger! The bathroom was in better condition and, already exhausted, we ended up accepting room 1409.
The sheets, towels, pillows and mattress were of good quality.
The next morning, a deplorable scene through the window showed the common areas abandoned and dirty, including the pool with cloudy water, clearly in need of water treatment. In addition, the landscaping included a waterfall that poured water into the pool, which became a target for pigeons that defecated in the water and consequently joined the water of the pool where the guests' children played and swam. The breakfast would be reasonable if they at least offered quality black coffee and milk, but even that was not achieved. In short, although they try to maintain the impression of refinement in the reception and restaurants, the carelessness with the details and the lack of renovation have a negative impact on the quality of the stay! It is still far from being a 4-star hotel! I do not recommend it!
