It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

We stayed here for a week over new year and it was amazing! The resort is beautiful, the staff are lovely and the pools were great. My son turned 9 while here and they made him feel so special. A note with a voucher left on the bed in the morning and they came out with a cake for him and sang happy birthday. It was NYE and they were so busy but still made time to do that. We are very grateful. The entertainment was really good and todays foam party was the highlight for my son. My reason for writing this review though, to give a special mention to the best lifeguard we’ve ever seen anywhere, Marina. She is something special. She is up at the Aquapark.with the slides and she is the kindest, funniest and most entertaining person. She was so good with our kids, so complimentary about each of them and took so much time with them. They’ve really scored with her. A lifeguard and kids entertainer in one. We will most definitely come back here. Thank you to everyone and much love to Marina. You are a very special lady x

Stayed at Gran Oasis over Xmas , was pleasantly surprised with the Hotel , we stayed in 158/159 which was couple of minutes from centre and looked over pool area , accommodation was fantastic, split level apartments very clean with plenty of space. Could see issues with people who have mobility troubles as some rooms have many steps to access them. Main pool is not heated (smaller kids one is) sun beds start being booked about 8.00 am. Food was good plenty of choice on buffet style you always get some things you like . You can also get snacks burgers/ hot dogs at the pool bar. At the main dinner you can get beer/ wine on tap , we found out that the wine was better from the main bar (bottled) then take it to the restaurant. The hotel does not show any Sports So you would have to go down to the town which is 8 Eur in taxi , their is a free bus but couldn’t get on it to busy. Overall great holiday and would certainly return.

After seven days here I can honestly say this was by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at o have read many reviews on this hotel and some people just are always wanting to find a problem location is perfect for family or couples that don’t like to be around the chaos that centre playa las Americas is even though we walked and taxi it in most days it was amazing to get away from it, we were all inclusive and only ate out twice which is amazing considering my little boy is the most fussiest eater hotel rooms are perfect hotel staff are wonderful & a special shout out to marina who was absolutely amazing and brought my little boy so much happiness she went above and beyond for him making his holiday that little more special.

The Christmas entertainment had an amazing Santa's Grotto with loads of free activities. The Christmas party celebrating ALL staff was amazing. Santa and his helpers made Christmas in the sun MAGICAL. Gran Oasis we're having an absolute BLAST

We had the best stay at gran oasis The food is basic but plenty of it and the cocktails were great The staff were outstanding, especially the entertainer Shelby , my daughter loved her Very clean and attentive , brilliant for families , definitely be back

Hotel staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The rooms are amazing, really clean and plenty of room. Carlos and Shelby were fantastic with the kids, they did competitions in the day and a disco in the evening. Kids loved them, Shelby got my partner involved too in the pool which was great to watch lol Marina was amazing with our children, she is the lifeguard at the Kids Splash park up at the top. She is so friendly and kind, she made my daughter a Jelly Man to play with in the water from a rubber glove. She even put a little face on it :) The main pools were cold at the start of our holiday, which did put our little boy off going back in once it had warmed up a few days into the holiday. We had a great holiday, thank you so much and we will definitely look at booking here again.

Como siempre que he acudido a este establecimiento todo ha sido excelente. Desde la atención en la entrada, el servicio de habitaciones, el servicio de sala, excelente. Como soy un cliente asiduo, el primer día el señor Jefe de Sala Dº Luis excelente profesional y como ser humano para que decir. Como decía, me dio el soplo de que había un nuevo Jefe de Cocina y como yo también lo soy me pidió mi modesta opinión. Quedé muy sorprendido con la indudable mejora. Si algo le faltaba al complejo para tener un 10 sobre 10 en mi humilde opinión era la cocina, YA LO HAN CONSEGUIDO!!! Sigan haciendo así. EXCELENTE. Que pasen una feliz navidad y un prospero año nuevo.
