A favorite part of our trip is any time we come back to the resort, the staff greets us with , "Welcome Home". It is so nice to wander the beautiful grounds. Flowers are blooming everywhere. There are wild iguanas that can be seen also and a peacock will call out. The pools are always clean and inviting. We love to play ping pong and take naps on the pool deck. Our room is simple and housekeeping is always available to keep it tidy for us. We enjoyed our meals at the beach front restaurant, Ribiera. Juan and Miguel gave us excellent service and made sure each meal was special. The resort is a quick taxi ride to the airport. Going other places is easy as Taxi's are always available in front of the resort or Bellman will call them for you. You can exchange your money for pesos at the resort also. We very much look forward to our next stay at Club Velas Vallarta.

I’ve stayed here for more weeks than I can count (20+) over the years. Large enough for many amenities and options. Small enough that many of the staff will remember your names and favorites through the week. Many remember us from year to year. Some of the most comfortable beds across the globe. High quality food and service. Quiet beach with cabanas and bar service. Same at the many pool sun-loungers. Also tables and loungers with shade. I’ve never had a problem finding open seats. They are currently updating their rooms again, but quietly. In the private marina area where a 7 min walk gets you to many additional shops and restaurants amid multi-million dollar yachts. Only 5 minutes from the airport. 20 minute taxi to Centro and the Malecon

We love the trees in the property, the fish ponds, the tropical vegetation, the different swimming pools, the front beach hotel. Staff is very friendly. All is very good!

We were offered an opportunity to listen to a presentation (45min.-1 hour), and we would be able to stay for the day and enjoy the facilities. However, what was supposed to be 45min. took almost 5 hours of our time, when we only have 3.5 days in Puero Vallarta AND WE WERENT ALLOWED TO STYAY. THEY TRIED TO SELL US A PACKAGE WITHOUT EVEN SHOWING US THE FACILITIES. WHO IS GOING TO BUY INTO SOMETHING THAT NEEDS A DOWN-PAYMENT OF ALMOAT $90,000 PLUS MORE THAN $7,000 A MONTH, WITHOUT EVEN SEEING WHAT THEY HAVE THERE! What a waste of half our day. Free breakfast and free taxi is not worth it. Just tell them NO! Then, when we left, they basically gave us money for taxis and were like, please leave. The friendiness of the staff and the courtesy disappeared. Then, they tried to get us to sign up for another tour of another hotel and presentation with a promise of a day pass to the other hotel. There is no way in he** we would waste anymore of our very short stay here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! We were picked up at 9:30am and didn't return to our hotel until after 2pm. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED THAT WE WASTED SO MUCH TIME. 😞 WHAT A RIP-OFF AND HOW GROSS TO BE LIED TO ABOUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. DO NOT GO HERE!

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed for 5 days in late February. The property is beautiful and the pool and walking path area is perfectly manicured. I know you hear reviews that say how friendly staff are, but it is true here. Everyone and I mean everyone was open and helpful. It really felt like they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Have to give a shout to Ricardo at the La Ribera restaurant on the beach. He adopted us gringos and made sure we had a good table and had everything we wanted. They even cooked one of the fish I caught that morning for our dinner. I could go on and on about how much we loved this place but there is only so much room here. Bottom line is to just go there. I guarantee you will enjoy it! It's the closest thing to paradise we've encountered.
