WOW
Me and my wife stayed for a couple nights this week and wow what an amazing experience. From check in to renting bikes from the front desk, the hotel restaurant, and getting advice and information from the front desk, everything was absolutely amazing. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, it being my first time in the country, I could not have asked for anything more. Also the beach view room was stunning. We also saw monkeys and sloths from our hammock on our front porch. Whenever I’m able to come back I could not even consider staying anywhere else!

Nice hotel
Receptionist was very kind and helpful, good location, nice well maintained property, AC and hot water was never a problem, overall was satisfied with our stay. Cons was that the taxi that the hotel called was a pirate taxi and there was a lizard or some kind of animal in our room that would make chirping noises throughout the night waking us up.

Beautiful
My coworker and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend and we really liked it. The garden is beautiful and there are a lot of different small animals.
Armadillos, crabs, hummingbirds, Watusa and colourfull frogs.
A small walk to the "center" of Viejo.

Desde años siempre Espape Caribeño es mi parada estratégica cuando vengo al caribe sur. Es un hotel excelente, todo el personal es amable, atento, cálido. Nunca he tenido una queja , al contrario hacen mi estadía placentera. Los jardines divinos. Don Juan José, brinda un servicio de excelente calidad desde el momento que uno llama para consultar disponibilidad, el amor y la pasión con la que él ejerce su puesto te dan ganas de tele transportarte de una vez al hotel. Recomendado el hotel

Este lugar es un paraíso, sus instalaciones son hermosas, habitaciones acogedoras muy aseadas, el desayuno delicioso y la piscina una delicia. Pero indiscutiblemente lo mejor de lo mejor es la atención desde la recepción, don Juan José Betancourt es extremadamente profesional, además su trato amabilidad es inigualable, me parece que es vital contar con personal de esta categoría, más en una posición tan importante como la recepción, ahí es en donde iniciamos la experiencia. Wat een heerlijke plek. mijn dochter vond de hangmat geweldig. huisje is prima, airco werkt en wifi ook, je wandelt zo naar het strand, of het dorpje. hoogtepunt was toch wel de aanwezige luiaard. super vriendelijk personeel die me meermaals hebben geholpen nadat ik mezelf had buiten gesloten. ontbijt is top, keuze uit el tipico, americano of continental

We had a great stay at Escape Caribeño. It was the last stop on our 3-Week Tour through Costa Rica and I think it was the best Hotel we stayed at. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was really good. It is near to many Restaurants and Shops and also has a Laundromat right next to it. Hotel staff was always super friendly and helpful. It was visible to me how frequently they swept the tiles outside and made sure there were no leftover leaves or anything on it. One thing I personally really appreciate was how many plants and different trees etc. were planted on the grounds. It’s beautiful to look at and good for Wildlife. We saw 2 sloths in the trees near the Hotel Reception which was my personal highlight. I really look forward to coming back here. I can only recommend this place.

Escape Caribeño is such a beautiful place! We saw sloths, a monkey and frogs on their property. Breakfast was tasty and the staff super helpful. Room was clean and the shower worked well. Would definitely stay again!
