The room was satisfactory, the space was good, the large viewing window, especially the answer to the questions before the appointment of Xiaoyan and Dora, was very timely, the communication was very smooth, and I placed the items I needed in the room in advance before arriving at the hotel. The biggest surprise for us during this trip to Qingdao was this homestay. The environment is so beautiful, Japanese style, there are some small surprises everywhere, and you can always find surprises in their layout. The hotel sister is very nice. I stayed for 2 nights and sent a piece of fruit every day, and it was very good quality fruit. It was also very comfortable to take a private bath at night. The staff were very helpful and provided valuable information for exploring Jimo Ancient City. The hotel’s location within the city walls make it an incredible place to rest one’s head and wake up at. The breakfast buffet is also a MUST with a wonderful spread of fresh and cooked options, as well as some tasty Chinese breakfast options. Because it is very close to the place where I work, I booked this hotel and felt the hospitality of Shandong welcoming you. The hotel decoration is simple, clean and exquisite. The pillows are comfortable, one is zero pressure and the other is down. The lobby is very grand. The breakfast area is not big but clean and warm. HHaykDuring my recent stay at the Vienna International Hotel in Qingdao City Balcony China Railway Expo City, I was thoroughly impressed by the establishment's quality and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The hotel itself is very new and maintains an impeccable level of cleanliness that immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
What stood out to me, even more, was the delightful breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. The variety was commendable, catering to all tastes with a perfect mix of local and international dishes. Starting the day with such a vast and delicious selection was indeed a treat.
However, the crown jewel of this hotel has to be its staff. The level of kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism they exhibited was beyond any expectation. Their commitment to ensuring guests have a wonderful stay was evident in every interaction. A particular instance that left a lasting impression on me was when I inquired about a nearby toy shop to purchase a gift for my friend's son. Not only did they provide information, but one of the staff members went above and beyond by calling a young man with an SUV. This young gentleman drove me approximately 20 minutes from the hotel to a shopping mall, assisted me in choosing the perfect toy, and then kindly brought me back to the hotel.
To my surprise, this extraordinary service didn't end there. Upon my return, they presented me with a small package of sweet and tasty Chinese cakes as a gift. This gesture of genuine care and hospitality deeply touched me and elevated my experience at the Vienna International Hotel to one of the most memorable ones.

LLulugOverall the hotel experience was pleasant enough. Had some difficulties finding the hotel at first. The hotel is very conveniently located with walking proximity to the airport. Rooms were spacious and beds and pillows were comfortable. Major grip was there was NO FRIDGE in the hotel rooms! Considering how hot it was in Qingdao this time of year, this was definitely an inconvenience. The pool was under renovation, so couldn't use it.

First and foremost, the receptionist displayed exceptional customer service. Our early morning arrival was met with a warm welcome and an unexpected early check-in. This considerate gesture allowed us to freshen up and kick-start our adventure, setting a positive tone for our stay.
During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping - a misplaced pair of Nike Air Max shoes. Thankfully, the vigilant receptionist swiftly resolved the issue, locating and returning the missing item promptly. To make amends for the inconvenience, they went the extra mile, offering a small gift and complimentary breakfast coupons as a gesture of goodwill. Such attentiveness to guest needs is truly commendable.
While we chose to explore authentic local cuisine during our trip, bypassing hotel dining, I cannot provide feedback on the food quality or variety.
In terms of location, this hotel scores points for convenience. Taxis are readily available, and it took us just 30 minutes to reach the stunning Laoshan Mountain, a must-visit destination. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a bustling night market right across the street adds to its appeal.
However, there's room for improvement, notably in the cleanliness department. The bathrooms, in particular, left much to be desired, with an unpleasant odour lingering during our stay. Broken equipment, such as the wardrobe, was also in need of repair. Furthermore, the electric kettle was not up to our cleanliness standards, discouraging its use.
In summary, this hotel offers excellent customer service, convenient access to transportation and local attractions, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. However, attention to cleanliness and maintenance, especially in the bathrooms, is an area that could use some enhancement.

I was rather upset with the morning breakfast staff - all is so unprofessional. Training shld be mandatory to all the staff . They will rather rude and no respect to guest . I do not wish to explain too much on my unpleasant experiences here .

MMorris CaiFacilities: This should be an older hotel. If the training location was not here, I probably would not choose to stay here. After all, besides being cheaper, it is also closer to the beach. I really can't think of any advantages of staying here. Because I booked a room for four consecutive nights and the occupancy rate was not high, the front desk upgraded me to a suite when I checked in. But how could I sleep in two beds? The space utilization was a bit of a waste. Another thing I want to complain about in the bathroom is that the amount of water for showering is too small. Also, I don't know who designed the washbasin and the faucet on the washbasin. The height of the washbasin is so low that a normal person of 1.7 meters has to bend over to wash. Also, such a small washbasin is equipped with such a large faucet. I would bump into it from time to time when washing my face. I was speechless.
Hygiene: In terms of hygiene, the efficiency of cleaning the room is quite high, but the second day they didn't help to change the sheets and quilts. In order to promote environmental protection, most hotels will put a sign on the bedside table, if you don't need to change, you don't have to change, but this hotel didn't see this thing, but it can't be assumed that the guests don't change. After all, they stayed for four consecutive nights. Did they not pay for the next few nights except the first night? In the end, I called the front desk to remind the aunt who cleaned the room.
Service: Don't mention the service. From Wednesday to Sunday check-out, I didn't feel any service at all. From the front desk reception to other service staff, everyone had a stern face and didn't take the initiative to greet the guests. It was indeed a lot worse than the service staff training of five-star hotels.
Finally, I want to complain about breakfast. There are not many dishes, and there is no local Qingdao characteristics. Even the drinks are only hot milk. Anyway, I have never drunk it. The rest of the juice is charged separately. I am drunk. At least all the hotels such as All Seasons, Hilton Garden Inn, and Orange Crystal have many kinds of drinks and don't charge.

The front desk of the hotel said that there was a free coffee gift on the first night, and a glass of ice latte was really delicious! ! I asked the front desk to know that this was prepared by the hotel owner. The boss himself is also a coffee hobby. He uses the good beans that the boss drinks by himself. Like me like coffee to live must taste, better than star dad.
I am used to staying in a chain hotel. It is rare to encounter a hotel that makes me feel warm and cost-effective. It is worth my serious evaluation and worth recommending.
