2026 Asia 100 - Scenic Hotels"An absolutely amazing stay that exceeded all expectations! The location is superb, and the breakfast restaurant offers incredible, unobstructed sea views – it was wonderful to enjoy breakfast while gazing at the ocean. We were upgraded to a city view king room, which was a generous 50 square meters and even had a partial sea view as an added bonus. The room itself was fully equipped with smart electric curtains, a smart toilet, and a shower with great water pressure – very comfortable. I especially appreciated the ample seating: in addition to a chaise lounge, there was a desk chair, a regular armchair, and a stool. Many hotels only provide one chair, so this was a thoughtful touch. Even the small details were great, like tissues by the elevators. The staff were all incredibly attentive and proactive in offering assistance. A special shout-out to Daisy Ding Xiaoqing, who helped with our check-in and upgrade. She even followed up with us via WeChat to ensure all our needs were met, provided valuable feedback, and gave us fantastic recommendations for Qingdao attractions and restaurants. The weather in Qingdao was perfect during our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose the Hyatt Regency again next time I'm in Qingdao. Five stars!"

"Lv Feng Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinan District. It’s just a 5-minute walk to The Mixc Shopping Mall, where you can find almost everything. Luckin Coffee is right next door, which is a big plus for coffee lovers. The MRT station is also only about a 5-minute walk away.
The room is spacious and well-equipped. The room I stayed in offers a view of Qingdao TV Tower, and I could also enjoy the sunset.

One of my favourite things about the room is this multifunctional machine (as shown in the picture). It works as an air conditioner, heater, and dehumidifier, which made the stay very comfortable."

No. 5 of Premium Hotels in Qingdao"It's been ten years since I last visited Qingdao, and returning to this beautiful coastal city after a decade brought back so many memories. This time, I chose the well-established Shangri-La. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's very well-maintained, and the location is excellent, being very close to May Fourth Square with a subway station right outside. My stay was packed with activities. One evening, returning to the hotel's front desk, I was surprised and delighted to overhear a manager speaking Cantonese. He spoke fluent Hong Kong-style Cantonese, and it was such a pleasant surprise to meet a fellow Cantonese speaker so far away in Qingdao. His way of speaking made us feel incredibly welcome and familiar. In the lobby, he recommended several different restaurants based on our preferences, and not a single one was a disappointment – I'm so grateful to him! He was truly wonderful and his service was incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time; it's a truly convenient hotel and highly recommended."

It's just a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall, and popular attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, the Underwater World, and the Olympic Sailing Center are all easily accessible. The rooms are spacious with a well-designed layout, good natural light, and effective soundproofing, making for an overall comfortable and pleasant stay. The only hiccup occurred on the day of departure – my room door seemed to have accidentally locked itself when I returned, and my electronic key card stopped working. Although I called the front desk immediately, the response after verifying my information wasn't quick, and the wait to get the door open felt a bit long. I eventually had to go downstairs to sort it out in person. Luckily, I didn't miss my high-speed train. I'd suggest the hotel optimize its emergency response mechanism, especially strengthening staff deployment for room services during peak hours and improving access control system inspections."

There is a 24hour Youke downstairs, super convenient. The view from our 37th floor was good.
Only down side was housekeeping didnt clean our cups and bowls on the 2nd last day of our stay, even tho we put them in the sink. Also would be good to have some cutleries and extra glasses in the cabinets..."

"Practically, photos of the aftermath of my stay. Haha. Room is spacious though the toilet is a little cramp. Near Qingdao Railway station (Metro) , with Qingdao Railway Station behind the hotel. So is very accessible to any places you want to go. Opposite the hotel, is zhanqiao pier, where by tourists comes to enjoy the sea view and feed the sea gulls. There are some restauraunts and convenience stalls around the hotel, hence no issues on food and getting the stuffs you need."
