We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time. The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants! We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff. Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

I was staying with my daughter here. Its close to the city centre just a few minutes of walk. Hotel itself was very beautiful. They had tit bits morning, evening and night at the entrance for their patrons to enjoy. Loved the view of the lake outside our window. Housekeeping was extremely thoughtful. They also sent us complementary milk and chocolate to make our hot chocolate at night. Loved it!

Best view ever! Haka House Queenstown has an amazing location right in front of the lake, with breathtaking views every morning and evening. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was peaceful. It is also within walking distance to the town centre, making it very convenient. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Queenstown! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel environment is great if the weather is good, and it offers good value for money. Facilities: The lobby has a terrace with direct views of the snow-capped mountains and Lake Wakatipu. The king-size rooms also have terraces, while the twin rooms don't offer much of a view. There are two toilets, but only one shower. The rooms are split-level, so it might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

The ground floor room had no view to speak of, and the overall experience was just okay. The service was decent, except for the middle-aged ladies who drove their Mercedes convertibles to work; they were incredibly arrogant. Also, the hotel only offers paid valet parking, and spots are very limited ($50 a day), so you'll need to find your own parking. My advice is to drive out during the day and return after 6 PM, as there's free street parking right outside the hotel, though you might have to circle a few times to find a spot. Alternatively, you can park in the adjacent Victoria Park for free for up to 4 hours.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's conveniently located within easy reach of Queenstown Airport, restaurants, and car rental agencies. The front desk team is warm and helpful. The bed linen is crisp and clean, and the room decor is pleasing. Towels were spotless, and the in-room laundry facilities (washer and dryer) along with the fully equipped kitchen make it an ideal choice for multi-night guests. The only minor drawback is that on-street parking can be scarce in the evening. Nevertheless, I am thoroughly satisfied with my overall experience.

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. We arrived early, around noon, and they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. Seeing that we were elderly and didn't speak the local language, they thoughtfully printed out a hotel guide in Chinese and had a staff member escort us to our room (as the hotel is quite large). This made our check-in process so easy and we felt truly cared for. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right by the lake, and transportation is convenient. We just took bus No. 1 from the airport, got off, and it was only about a hundred meters walk. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a particularly beautiful ambiance!

Where do I start - from arriving until leaving we had the most amazing stay here. We had a family room which was so spacious - the beds were huge and it’s cosy! The blowout curtains had us sleeping in more than it should’ve 😆 We had breakfast with our stay and it did not dissapoint there was such a selection from savoury to sweet and more! Love it coffee and juices included just amazing The gym was so well equipped mlre than I’d expect so was pleasantly surprised and the equipment was all up to scratch and working smoothly The spa was beautiful 🤩 The sauna was also good but it wasn’t as hot as would usually expect It would be amazing if the bigger pool was heated so more ppl could enjoy swimming around together but it wasn’t like a cold plunge perfect for those who enjoy it after a sauna The location is beautiful right near town a little walk away and parking was well priced and easy enough to organise Thanks so much for having myself and my family It made our stay that much more memorable

I booked this hotel because I had an early 7 AM flight. It's easily accessible from Queenstown via bus route 1, and bus route 3 takes you to a supermarket near the airport, which is super convenient. I had originally planned to walk to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), but I easily caught a taxi at 5 AM for 20 NZD. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive, especially a lady with a French accent. The front desk closes after 8 PM, but you can self-check-in/out with a key card. The room itself was well-equipped, thoughtfully laid out, clean, and tidy, with kitchen facilities and a washing machine.

The hotel environment is nice, offering mountain and lake views, but there's ongoing construction that starts as early as 7 AM. Additionally, parking is a major issue. I reserved a parking space six months in advance and reminded the hotel again before check-in, yet upon arrival, there was still no space. I was told to park on a nearby street, which has no pedestrian facilities to get back to the hotel, and cars drive at high speeds, making it impossible to cross the road safely.
