Very nice and clean, good food and relaxing. All staff so helpful and willing to help. Hugo makes the best cocktails at the swim up bar and Eldido best waitress in the snack restaurant. Close to the airport but you don’t hear the planes hardly at all. Nicely located with two beach bars within walking distance along the beautiful sandy beach.

We arrived as a family of 8 on the 23rd Christmas to celebrate a 50th birthday and Christmas and were not disappointed. Transfer from the small airport is 5 mins and check in was really smooth; no queueing and a drink on arrival. We had a combination of rooms: 1 room with a pool, one double room and a 2 bedroomed family room. All the rooms were very clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel is really spacious, clean and very well maintained. All the staff are polite, helpful and knowledgable. There is even an onsite doctor, which we needed as one member of our party needed antibiotics and an appointment was made within an hour of us making an enquiry. The pool areas are great and right on the beautiful clean beach. The food is very varied and caters for all needs. Plenty of fresh fruit, salads, meats, pastas and desserts. We have a wonderful holiday and the hotel made a special effort for the 50th birthday celebration. Tips: There are 3 speciality restaurants and these need to be booked via the app or at the reception desk. Men are required to wear these to enter all three so this is well worth knowing in advance. The quad biking excursion is also well worth doing and those in our party that did it said it was a highlight. We will be back as we had a great holiday.

We spent Christmas at the Riu Palace Boa Vista with our family, a wonderful time was had by all of us. Everyone was very friendly, very helpful and everywhere was lovely and clean. The only criticism I have is the Gala dinner on Christmas night, I have a mobility scooter and normally can get about to look at the buffet, although there were some intolerant people that didn’t seem happy I was there looking if I got in their way. The night of the dinner there was no way I could even get to the counters, it was like people thought they wouldn’t be eating again. I had to rely on my family to get some food and they are able bodied but found it difficult. We had the earlier sitting because of the grandchildren, perhaps the later sitting wasn’t so busy. Perhaps the queuing system for the Gala dinner needs to be looked at. First class for everything else

This is our 2nd stay at this gorgeous hotel the staff are so genuine and attentive the snr management are clearly visible and the whole estate is spotless we have travelled extensively but this hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed food in the restaurants is of the highest quality and standard so enjoyed our current stay we have booked again while here 2 return.

Lovely and clean, well maintained and super friendly staff. Everyone was so welcoming and smiley. Lots of food options with the buffet with prepared food and fresh cook stations, plus the 3 al a carte resturants. Tasty food in all and great service. Pool areas and beach kept clean and tidy, lots of beds in the shade so no need to rush down with towels in the morning (although people still did!). Great choice of drinks at the bars and well staffed so not long waits. All staff seemed like they really wanted everyone to have a great time! Standard room was large, clean and comfortable. Gym and spa area - gym was smaller than at some hotels but adequate and well maintained. Would have liked the gym to have opened slightly earlier for a pre breakfast work out, but it wasnt a big issue, its a holiday after all! Lovely couples massage in the spa and reasonably priced. Close to the airport, so nice and quick airport transfer but quiet airport so minimal noise. Bags taken to your rooms for you, so you can enjoy the facilities straight away! Coffee shop was a lovely extra for a relaxing drink and cake in the afternoons, or had an iced baileys coffee on the beach! Gorgeous beachfront location with beds on the beach or by the pool. Close enough to the bars to grab a drink and sit on the beach. Swam in the sea a few times although in this area there tends to be more waves than still water. Lots of daytime activities and evening entertainment available to join if thats your thing. Overall hotel was a real gem, lovely place for relaxing in the sun. Would go again!

Service wonderful, room very well laid out for wheelchair access, bathroom fully accessible in wheelchair including the shower area, with fitted chair for easy transfer and grab rails situated in good positions. Bed very comfortable and made up as often as you require, with beautiful artwork made from soft furnishings. Balcony accessible with wheelchair without assistance needed. Entire hotel fully accessible with ease. Which made our stay perfect. There is a hoist to assist getting in and out of the pool if required. Sun beds are a little low if you are unable to transfer, but having spoken with the manager, it is the pipeline for possibly different ones when the hotel is refurbished. We will definitely be coming back as this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and very helpful. Food is very tasty and beautifully presented, with plenty of choice, but if you do decide to go to any of the bookable restaurants be aware that the men must wear long trousers.

We're a family of 4, a 5 year old and an 8 month old. We stayed over Christmas and it was honestly the best holiday we've had as a family. Food was incredible, loads of variety, rooms are immaculate, the staff and entertainment are top tier. We celebrated 2 birthdays and they went above and beyond to make them both special. Would 100% come back

Gewoon weg een fantastisch resort. Het Hotel ziet er heel goed uit en de Service is fantastisch! Echter aangezien het niet heel groot is en redelijk druk bezet, wordt het wel tijd dat een en ander wordt opgeknapt. Buiten dat is het er echt thuis komen. Het personeel is echt fantastisch.
