I made my reservation through trip com. However, at the hotel, they asked for an extra fee of 6 euros per room for air conditioning, but such information was not given to me in the price information. So we had to sleep without air conditioning at night. This is the first time I came across a hotel like this. Even if it was free again, I wouldn't stay.

Nicely refurbished small hotelwith central location. Friendly service from the owner and decent breakfast. I first stayed in a room to the back of the building without balcony and with a very small bathroom from which water was flooding all over the room. Lots of noise from the small bar on the ground floor in this room. Then moved to a regular room on the front side with balcony which was of good quality and without the problems of the first room. Fully satisfied with the second room while the first room was below expectations (therefore only 3 points out of five for facilities).

Ticks all the boxes, will stay again. Helpful owner. Highly recommend

Reasonably priced, convenient location for travelling, great breakfast, the owner of the New York hotel is very welcoming, even though I'm not good at communicating in English, I still got help.

I am very happy with the experience at this hotel. The staff were all friendly, the rooms were clean and all information clearly explained before we checked in. The breakfast is basic but very good if you don't want to overeat, like me. I skipped breakfast as part of my normal routine, but my wife and son loved it. The wifi was decent, with moderate speed during the day and fast speed in the evening. With such a good location, it took us 20-30 minutes walk to the furthest points that we wanted to visit. There are local supermarkets close by, and there is a great traditional Greek restaurant just up the road, Belmo Palace. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage at reception after checking out so we could go out due to having an evening flight. After reading other reviews, I was a bit sceptical, but it was a lot better than we expected. There is indeed an air conditioning fee, which is common for all 2 or 3 star hotels in Greece.

We were two nights at this hotel, we found it to be a clean and comfortable space. The staff were very helpful and friendly through all staying This hotel has an excellent location, close to the beach and the city center. We are very satisfied.

Mr. Sakis at reception makes your whole experience, one of joy. He recommends outings, helps with the practicalities and works very hard from breakfast time until the afternoon. The cleaning staff are friendly and very efficient and offered to clean our room every day. Breakfast is simple but fresh. The bread and croissants are delivered daily. A lovely lady takes over in the afternoon/early evening and the night porter plays great music in the attached bar. I recommend this hotel 10/10, but I don't want you to book, because we will be back next year for sure. David from Craiova.

We stay in hotel in July. 12 days . First we got room without terace its terible , after 4 days they changed. Hotel is 850m away from eli beach . 7-8 minuts of walking . Breakfast is terrible. Only 3 slices of ham and 3 slices of cheese and every day same !! Dont take breakfast here. We must buy food everyday because we were hungy. Hotel is very loud. Rooms are clean . Maid constantly left balkon door open , we lock before we go and she came and open wide .we turning off power constantly, lefting fridge get warm and air conditioning off. Hotel is good for weekend maybe not for longer stay. I wouldn’t came backe in this hotel.

Very welcoming personal, the owner is very friendly and is helping you in every way possible. The location is great, everything is near. The beach Ellie is only 5-7 min max away from the hotel. All around are restaurants, shops etc. The hotel was clean; for this price the equipment off the room was really great and modern; you get clean towels, sheets.. At the entrance they have also a cute bar and you can relax as much as you want. Really happy with our stay.

Cheap but somehow still not worth the money. The rooms were extremelydirty. The towels were never changed even though they claimed they do it 3 times a week. ( I am sure because of my mascara stain on the towel) In one occassion there was a roach in the room. We gently asked the roached to leave lol. AC is extra. In our room we didn't have any windows only a balcony kind of thing that leads to the common area (?????) So we couldn't leave it open while we were sleeping. They basically force you into using AC, which is 5 eurs per night. The bed was made out of two singles. It hurt our backs. There was no proper shower curtain or seperator which soaked the floors. The breakfast is, interesting. 4 extremelythin slices of cheese, ham, butter, 2-3 types of jam and bread that's it. The building is NOT soundproof at all. Too noisy. Not because of the district but it has an open bar downstairs. By downstairs I mean both within the lobby and directly underneath the room windows. Very hard to sleep. I would visit Rhodes again but definately not this hotel.

The hotel is situated in the centre of the new town area close to harbour and lots restaurants and bars. It is within easy walking distance of bus station and rhodes old town. The room are basic but nice. Its a family run hotel and the father manager made us feel welcome. The breakfast is basic but then the price for hotel is cheap. I was more than happy with everything about hotel. Downside is street noise but is is situated in busy area. For the money paid its well worth it and I would not think twice about returning. If you are looking for cheap hotel with basic breakfast located close to everything then check out price.

Fantastic location, great hospitality, family run hotel, friendly and very clean. Highly recommend. Close to all amenities and very friendly staff. Visited in August 22 and will definitely come back soon. Very close to the beach and the old town of Rhodes.
