They won't let you leave your suitcase there. What's even worse is that even though it's a hotel, there's no water in the shower or taps. I stayed there for two nights, but there was no water, so I couldn't brush my teeth or wash my hair. Other people said that the water cut-off was more than just a one-time thing, so I guess the water supply is cut off on a daily basis.
There was no refund or compensation for this.
It was the worst hotel.

book at your own risks - if u want a quick over nite this might be ok, heater not working well, stained linens, no hair dryer, room super duper small, no space to place even a carry-on, impatient receptionist & very poor service, safety hazards on the wet floor in the bathroom (with a sign to remind guests) but i wonder why no bath mat was provided at all. location wise is about 4-minute walk from Richmond Station if u don’t get lost in that zig-zagged route.

Clean and modern hotel. I recommend it for price. 40 minutes from the center with Public Transportation.

The room was very clean and had enough facilities for a night's stay. The only thing that is not provided in the room is a hair dryer, but you can borrow one at the front desk. It has good access and is surrounded by restaurants and shopping streets, giving the impression that it is located in a high-class residential area.

My stay was seamless. Everything was as I wished. Easy check in, clean room, quiet hotel, caring people. During busy and difficult time hotel was my real escape and safe place, free from everyday rush. Thank you, Richmond Travelodge Team!

Well I grew up near here so I was surprised there was a Travelodge in Richmond... took me a while to find it... and the parking was hideously expensive when you live on my budget.... £24 to park... ouch... The room was too small and I was in panic mode as I could not open my window... Made me feel too enclosed... But in reality Richmond is beautiful so at least I could wander and feed the swans down by Richmond bridge

The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel Things to think about before you book -Very little sound proofing between the rooms (kudos to the bloke in the room next to me, their night time pee was impressive!). But outside soundproofing was fantastic - The size of the toilet, I am 173, 70kgs, I wear size small in clothing... I only just fit on the toilet with the limited space between the hand basin and the wall - 1500 check in time but no luggage storage is a bit of a nightmare - Our split system heating unit was super loud and we had to turn it off to sleep, luckily the room stayed warm enough over night, but further into winter might have been an issue. Location is fantastic!

Rooms so small you can't actually fit the desk chair in front of the desk.And this is the 'new design! If you're booking for work and need a workable desk, book elsewhere.
