Definitely recommend. Very attractive hotel and comfortable room. Margaret is fantastic, very friendly and professional. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. The food was excellent and eating on the outside terrace was very pleasant.

In all aspects an extremely pleasant stay…food is very good…service and people make it an absolute joy !!! The rooms are spacious with bath and shower….TV and wifi a given !!! Mandy has created an ambiance that will grow even more as time passes !!! JUST BOOK AND GO !!

What an exceptional Hotel! The attention to detail is superb, from the beautiful rooms to the hot water bottle placed in the bed. The restaurant food is also outstanding. A must stay for anyone in the area

Our second experience at The Grand Hotel this time for the boutique wedding of a couple from MacGregor. We arrived in the morning for an afternoon wedding. After a strong, vigorous massage by Amanda, I was ready for an Aperol in the sun by the pool where we met up with other wedding guests. The poolside courtyard made an excellent venue for the wedding service and afterwards a smorgasbord of snacks followed by Karoo lamb chop dinner with copious red wine from the surrounding winelands. The music finally died at midnight and there were some tired guests the next day. But a sumptuous breakfast restored the spirts. Great owners, great staff especially Margaret and Paul, spacious beautiful adorned rooms, a top venue for such an event.

Mark and I had our Wedding at The Grand Hotel over the weekend of the 1 December 2024. What an experience!! Mandy, Trevor and their entire team treated us like royalty. The food coming out of the kitchen is top drawer. We had large tables ordering completely different meals and each and every dish was beautifully presented and delicious The pool and courtyard bring the outside in and many happy hours were spent around the pool. The wedding planning was an absolute breeze. Mandy makes it a fun, interactive experience and I never worried about a single detail from day 1 of meeting with her. The decor of the hotel is a mix of old and new. It has been restored lovingly and with unbelievable taste. Thank you so much The Grand Hotel. Unforgettable ❤️

We attended a wedding held at The Grand Hotel and stayed here for the night. From the time of arrival until booking out we experienced some of the best service we have had in a long time. The room we stayed in was spacious, modern and comfortable. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was great. The hosts were very friendly and together with the wonderful, helpful staff our stay was a memorable one. We would definitely stay here should we visit Robertson again in the future. The wedding was very special and The Grand Hotel can be very proud of being the perfect organiser. Thank you Mandy, Trevor and your Staff.

A quaint little town, great for the wine train and the Grand Hotel is the perfect place to stay. We arrived too late to get a sear on the train, but the owner offered to try and get us seats at the bar on board, however after a long drive chose to stay at the hotel and relax. Our room was gorgeous, stand alone bath, sofas and chairs and 2 large fireplaces. Gardens with sun loungers, cushions and towels and the icing on the cake a newly opened spa. I can honestly say that the 90 min deep tissue massage with Amanda was the best massage I have ever had ( and trust me I've had lots). If only I didn't live 6k miles away I'd definitely be back regularly. Nice breakfast by the pool and varied menu also available throughout the day.

We visited to have a drink and a meal and were truly delighted by the beautiful building and lovely hosts. The gardens are lovely for a pre dinner drink before choosing from their menu. Food was superb, fresh, aromatic and very tasty. We were happy to walk back to our B&B but they insisted we get a lift in their London Black cab. Perfect end to lovely evening.
