King size bed in my room but pretty sure they tried to put on a queen size sheet. The matress was very soft and felt "broken down" the one chair in the room had several stains on it. And i killed multiple gnats or fruit flies in my room.

Got there after dark and the entrance wasn't lit so I missed it. Saw a gravel drive going in the back way and saw a K9 cop there. Should've been my first clue to keep on going. 1st they put me in room 107. Shower floor was black with dirt and the shower doors were broken. Went back to desk and was going to leave. The clerk was then there with a manager? Named John. They told me I could be upgraded to a renovated room upstairs and they'd take this room out of service. How didn't they know it was bad before? Then stayed in 206. The carpet was not swept with debris all over. No hair dryer. Only 2 towels. Shower had black marks from shoes? And perhaps mold or mildew. It was wet. Toilet seat was up, looking like it was used by workers or something. Shade didn't close all the way. My feet felt sticky from walking on carpet. Wall was puckered, a light switch didn't work, the door was ill fitting so you could see the hallway from inside the room, a/c was noisy. In the morning, I couldn't find anyone to check out. Turns out the worker was in getting herself breakfast. When she finally came, I asked for ghe manager (posted as being on duty). I was told the Mgr wasn't there. I asked for a call. Still waiting.

As a hilton honor member since 1993, this has to be one of the worst properties i've ever stayed in! I realize you're trying to do an upgrade.And i'm on the third floor which looks like it disaster because of the remodeling but seriously supposedly the room I chose has been redone. Upon walking in my room smelled Is horrible, And being someone that stays in hotels a hundred plus nights yearly I checked the heating and cooling element filters first. Obviously when doing the remodel to the room.They were never taken out and cleaned they were so caked with dust and dirt. I knew I was not going to get a better room so I cleaned them. I also found trash under the couch.And the floor is staying beyond belief with dirt. I will never stay at this property again.

This is the worst motel I have ever seen that was part of the Hilton chain. Our room had no television so they moved us to a second room. It had no lights in the bathroom and there was supposedly no way to fix it. So we moved to a third room. The entire hotel is filthy. Furniture and and carpet worn out. Breakfast was bad. We stay in Hilton properties all the time. Diamond members. This place is the absolute worst

The only reason I gave it one star was because I couldn’t give it 0. This was the most awful hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room was dark and dingy. The mattress was so flimsy that you sunk all the way down in it. The blinds were broke so that you couldn’t open them to get any light. (See posted photo) The shower was gross. The hotel doors were not locked at night so anyone could just walk in. Overall, a horrible experience.

I have had occasion to stay here several times over last few years. Recently in March. The hotel has a convenient location just off interstate and near the small town of Glen Carbon. There are ample dining options in town and shopping as well. While, I appreciate the Hampton breakfast - it was not well presented and stocked. Some items were cold or empty. The hotel is in need of updates and renovation/redecorating. It still meets standards but time is wearing on it and they need a redo. I might or might not stay with them again, as a Diamond member. If needing to be in GC area it is convenient but there could be better value options.

The worst bed we have slept on! We travel extensively and have never had such a bad bed. We told the desk attendant that the mattress should be thrown in the dumpster. The room was old and needed a make-over. The people above us were jumping and it felt like there as no insulation. The "hot" breakfast was terrible. I do not recommend this. Next time we will stay elsewhere.

We are increasingly disappointed by Hampton and this was unfortunately typical of some of our stays in the past year. Once again the pool/hot tub was out of service (this has been the case in the last THREE Hamptons we have stayed at), plus this particular hotel is in dire need of attention: the refrigerator was broken and out food spoiled, there was mold in the tub grout, the mattress was lumpy and worn (date on the tag is 2007!), the pillows were meager, the furnishings were scratched and worn. The Hampton in Cleveland was in a similar sorry state. The manager at St. Louis did offer a pitiful 10% discount because of the refrigerator and said they are slated for a remodel. If Hampton cannot keep properties up to a better standard, how can you expect members to remain loyal?

We stayed at this property from 7/27/2023-7/30/2023 for a birthday trip and were VERY disappointed in the conditions of the hotel and even more in the COMPLETE lack of concern for citizens with disabilities. We had requested a full wheelchair-accessible room with roll-in shower but arrived to a room that was not clean with a bathtub preventing my husband from accessing the shower, pool and hot tub had non-functioning lifts, breakfast was disgusting with microwaved food and watered down juices, there were dead bugs on the floor of our room, my husband couldn't even access the bathroom sink and had to use the sink/mirror right inside the front door to brush his teeth and shave for 4 days. When we brought our concerns forth regarding the lack of accessibility we were advised by the front desk agent that "my manager will be comp'ing part of your stay due to all of these issues" but we haven't received any communication or refund at all. If you want to be respected as Hilton Honors members, have a disability or want to stay where your concerns will be addressed, and your disability not ignored, please don't stay at this hotel!
