Great stay in San Gimignano
Gorgeous property, family run. Perfect location. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Great recommendations. Parking is about 300-400 meters, easy access. Tasty breakfast. The have an ancient cellar that you can tour.

Une belle atmosphère
Un hôtel charmant, labyrinthique, emprunt d'une belle atmosphère, un peu hors du temps et du flot touristique qui se déverse dans les rues autour. L'accueil est des plus chaleureux et le personnel dans son ensemble est d'une grande amabilité. La salle des petits déjeuners est vaste et agréable, et la petite terrasse intérieure est idéale pour un bain de tranquillité. Le tarif des consommations m'a paru un peu exagéré. Notre chambre était spacieuse et dans un bon état général. Doubles vitrages, persiennes et volets intérieurs. L'antique puits existe toujours et on peut visiter les sous-sols avec des vestiges de structures.

We have to say that it was probably one of the nicest places we stayed in a long time the family that runs it I think it’s two sisters and a brother we’re just unbelievable as the old fashion really successful Italian way of running a hotel that’s all I can say the food was great for breakfast their services impeccable they have a passion and love for their business and it shows

Our room was immaculate, very functional and well stocked for our evening in San Gimignano. All staff members were very professional and friendly. A typically Italian breakfast was served, to get us started on our day. A lovely place to stay!

Fabulous hotel. The name means “antique well” and indeed there is an antique functional well inside the hotel. There is also a little museum in the basement that includes ancient ceramics and very interesting old winemaking equipment. The breakfasts are wonderful. The staff is one of the best I’ve experienced. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.
