The hotel is very central in old San Juan. Good for one or two days. The room was very small. Enough for one person and one night but definitely not big enough for two people. Right at the entrance next to the lobby, it was very loud. Wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was perfectly located for walking around all over Old San Juan. The place really has character, bringing out its historical setting while providing modern conveniences. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful.
Regrettably, like many facilities in recent years, daily housekeeping has been dropped, which is troubling in a place where toilet paper must be discarded in the wastebasket, rather than flushed. We left the placard on the doorknob, requesting maid service, but it had no effect. Regardless, the room was clean when we arrived.
