Hotels Near Mingyue Square in Sanya

This is really a good review. It was my first time to come to Sanya and I did a lot of hotel guides. I finally chose this apartment. With more people living together and cooking together, it would be more lively. I was afraid that the actual apartment would not match the real thing and would be a trap, so I booked it for two nights. When I came in, it certainly lived up to my expectations. There was a spacious, clean and open living room, the sea in front of me, and a full set of toiletries. The boss was also nice and responded in a timely manner. I extended the stay for a few more nights. Overall, it was great. I would still recommend it next time.

Squat toilets are in the rooms without balconies, which I discovered when I moved from the balcony room. The shower and bed are also much lower quality for not much or a price difference, so I recommend the balcony room. The bathroom, bedding, kettle were all clean. The balcony furniture in good repair. Nice smelling toiletries. The owner was a sweet lady. I would definitely stay again. :)

Wonderful, big apartment near the sea, stuff is great, quiet place to enjoy holidays for a reasonable price. We stayed at hotels before but they were noisy and rooms small. This apartment is our best stay in Sanya.

I rented a very ordinary room for a day, as I arrived at 3 in the morning from the airport, the very nice hostess came down, met me and ended up giving me a super cool room, with a balcony and a full view of the sea. The room had all the amenities, a washing machine, a kettle, shower accessories, despite the fact that I had everything of my own, it was still very nice. Clean towels, the air conditioning works perfectly, there is wi-fi. Well, really 1 minute to the sea, that was the whole purpose of my stay in the apartment. I recommend it, better than Berry hotels and all the hotels nearby) A very good hostess, she gave me a discount for booking the next days, because I really liked it and ended up staying there for 4 days) I lived on the 21st floor

The check in desk was very helpful, and met me even though my flight was late and I arrived close to 2:30am. The room was clean and satisfactory. The bathroom was a bit smaller than the photos. But the view from the balcony was amazing (in the photo). It’s within walking distance to the beach, less than 5 minutes, and close to all of the big tourist restaurants in Dadonghai. The location is super great.

The homestay was upgraded for free, the room was clean, the balcony was very comfortable, the front desk service was very fast, the attitude was very good, the hot water was supplied 24h, the water pressure was very stable, the toiletries were also very careful, the hotel that I will stay there next time, takeaway can be delivered to the door of the room, very close to Luhuitou Park and Dadonghai, perfect

Well, this hotel was perfect a few years ago. I remember it was even better than nearby 5 star hotels. I was disappointed this time, because it got old. It doesn't feel like that beautiful Barry hotel it used to be. But, still the location is convenient and the price is very pleasant. Only because of its low price I would recommend it. But don't expect anything fancy. I hope that Barry will be renovated in the nearest future.

Great location! Near the East China Sea! There is an elevator! Good environment. Room layout is ok! The boss has a very good attitude! Hygiene: it is not timely to clean up the garbage Service: still very good! Facilities: the toilet seat is broken!

In comparison to my 3 weeks of hotel stay in 7 cities in China, this hotel has to be the most disappointing experience. Breakfast was poor. There’s a sign for coffee but nothing offered across the 3 nights we stayed there. No bacon or fried eggs nor western bakeries. However, there’s limited congee , noddles, cooked veggies & white bread with only one strawberry jam offered . We’re there at 750 am but was told some items was already out of stock. Limited napkins provided in dining area. Room was smelly of tropical dampness, but air conditioning helps. $300 deposit was required for room damage precautions. My friend has an argument over tainted bedsheet caused by previous patrons but has to prove it. So check your bedroom before committing. Location was fairly good, with walking distance to the beach and side street offered various food services and massages. Second level inaccessible by elevator but no one tells us until much later. Russian tourists loved this area & the abundance of Russian posters & welcoming signs told the story.

The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.
