Sanya Hotels with Wi-Fi

The hotel is very old, the room we stayed in definitely needs renovation, and probably so do other rooms. The view is nice, though. The biggest disappointment was “private beach”. As the hotel staff pointed out, all the beaches in Sanya are now public, so no private beach whatsoever. The only thing the hotel could offer is a private gate to the beach, which was only open for one day during our stay, then it got closed because of some construction works at the beach. So, to get to the beach, we needed to take a detour through the main street which was awfully inconvenient. Just imagine going all the way back covered in sand and everything😡 The hotel has two swimming pools, one of them was closed. The other one was fine, no problem here. All in all, the hotel was quite a disappointment, not going back there again.

The hotel room was spacious and neat. It had a bathtub, separate shower/toilet, a large closet with a safe, a mini fridge and some cups, which I really liked since I made my own breakfast. The sea view from the balcony combined with that of the hotel's infinity pool looked amazing! The hotel is only 15 minutes by walk away from the nearest beach and everything is relatively close. Since it was located on a hill with a long drive through... ordering things from meituan was really convenient. They even had a meituan locker where you can scan the code and collect your order! The front desk receptionist spoke proper English, was nice and attended to my needs. They also had a gym and restaurant. It's sad that they didn't have a laundry room since I stayed in Sanya for a week and wanted to do my laundry. Also the pool closes at 7h so at night you couldn't swim. But you could lay down and enjoy the fresh nightly breeze!

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

This hotel is right across from Sanya Bay beach, so this is really convenient for beach days. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and clean too. The buffet breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and western foods. At the top of the hotel there’s a small patio/balcony section where you can see Sanya bay. Good for photos! I would stay here again as I really enjoyed my stay. I think this hotel offers a good balance between affordability and quality.

Hotel’s location is great - the first line at the best beach in Hainan: Sanya bay. It takes just 3 minutes to cross the underground tunnel and you find yourself right at the beach. The breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful. Staff is helpful. Cleaning is done every day. Unfortunately, despite hotel’s gigantic territory, only 5th part of it can be really used. Although it looks like hotel has 4 swimming pools and ponds, in reality only central one is working. Hot springs are located right next to the majority of hotel rooms, so 14:30-22:00 it’s impossible to relax in the room because big families are all enjoying hot springs, producing plenty of noise. There is no bar at the pool. No lunch and dinner buffet at the hotel. Although my stay here was okay, I’m not planning to visit this hotel again.

Excellent hotel and good value for money. Rooms are large, swimming pool is very nice with kids pool and adult one, the kids playground in the villa area is terrific, the location is perfect (5 minutes walk to a shopping center with restaurants, 5 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes walk to a food street with night market). The style is also pretty (white and pink flowers on the hotel walls). Small negative note: the restaurant in hotel (buffet) is a bit expensive even though the wall aquarium is nice and food seems very good quality. An “a la carte” option would be nice for small families that doesn’t especially want to go with expensive buffet. Also no bar in hotel opened after 8pm.

Let's start with the highlights: 1. Check in and check out smootly 2. Room spacious and clean 3. Breakfast is good and even with full hotel, table available (thumbs up for the management) 4. Pool area very nice, plenty of chairs to use 5. Restaurants and room service are good, pity that for dinner, available choice of BBQ area was very limited (hot pot although is a very traditional thing for Chinese, could also have a kind of Liaoning style BBQ which is totally beach highlight in any part of the world) 6. Coffee shop/bar very good 7. Cleanness of the room spot on, well done (my negative points will not come from the job made by housekeeping but for the orders they have from management) Not pleasant points: 1. No replacement of coffee/milk powder on room (it's a very cheap thing, even 2 Star hotels do that, shame on IHG) 2. No changing sheets, which i can understand in a 2/3 Star hotels but not on ones you spend more than ¥ 1.300.00/night again in my view shame on IHG with the lame excuse of environment. 3. Disposable slippers not replaced in my 4 days stay (again, even a 2/3 star hotels do that without asking for, saving little bucks is kind of lame) 4. Overall the place is kind of old, although not yet rundown, the hotel could do some kind of enhancement of exterior appearance special from swimming pool view, could be painted or washed, repair the parts broken, eliminate the metal green box on roof (of course i didn't take picture, it's an eyesore), in summary, a little effort for appearance and keep fresh and kind of exclusive (which you expect from a hotel that call themselves a resort) Do i come back? Sanya for sure, this hotel, probably not, although the staff are great, i just don't like to be in a place that i have to ask things when i paid for the service already. I'm a ihg member but i didn't book through their app, but in trip (as i found better price than their own app, just UNBELIVABLE) :)

Our stay in Pullman Oceanview was just perfect !! 😃😃 Eva was very simpathic and answer all our question (and in English !! what a pleasure !!) The hotel is very nice located, the beach is pleasant and the staff of the beach and the swimming pool is very convenient! As french travelers, we wanted an hotel where we can eat western food and the food was perfect for us during our stay 😍 The breakfast buffet was very cool too for the price, we ate lot of good western things ! I recommend the hotel for all the activities, the location, the sea, the pools, the big rooms, we love it 😍

The hotel is a little dated and you can tell it used to be nice and modern. The rooms could use an update or a little “zhuzh”though. The amenities are good and the grounds are well kept. The staff is also amazing and were helpful whenever I had problems. I do get you’re paying for the Marriott brand but compared to other Marriott owned hotels, this hotel is just ok. A bit underwhelming and overpriced. Breakfast was good with a variety of options from Western to Chinese. The restaurant also had tasty, flavourful food I tried for dinner. Big up to this . I was upgraded to the pool access room which was nice, I had escaped cold Shanghai for a warmer place, ended up not swimming because the pool was a little cold. Wish it was heated( maybe the kiddy pool was). Sanya was unfortunately gloomy and cold so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the ocean. Overall the stay was just okay. Nice if you want easy access to a beach you can actually swim in.

The hotel has a very good location and the room are really spacious and well prepared. It was very clean and everyday they came and clean the room deeply. A unique experience with a warm welcome and a very nice and wonderful service from Ian Lan! (Speaking english), he helps us everyday and arrange everything for us. Any questions, he can answer. And he also anticipates our needs which more than perfect! One improvement that the hotel should do is to improve the offer for lunch and dinner. A little bit more possibilities will be great. (We are also in china and lot of possibilities around for deliveries anyway)
