"Reception [Little Starfish Hotel] Unlimited access to the water park & aquarium: Guests can enter for free with their room card. The water park's shark slide is thrilling and unique, and the lazy river is perfect for the whole family. Although the aquarium isn't huge, the mermaid show and interactive marine life experiences are engaging. Children's bathrobes, slippers, and toothbrush sets are provided, and bed rails/booster seats can be requested. Areas for improvement: The overall effect inside the room is good, but the facilities are old, and some items are damaged and haven't been repaired. The lobby's public area is too messy, and the activity zone for children under 3 is poor. Breakfast is quite good, but many hot dishes at the dinner buffet are cold. It's not very suitable for families with very young children. I personally think it's better for energetic kids aged 5-6+ or young couples traveling."

She made us feel so comfortable and cared for, and even helped us upgrade to a room with a better view. The seaview room's panorama was absolutely stunning! The moment you open the window, you're greeted with an unparalleled ocean view – super beautiful! The breakfast was also delicious, and the hotel's location is really convenient, close to the First Market and Dadonghai. It's perfect for shopping, dining, and going to the beach. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommend! 🤗🌴🌊✨"

This was truly an excellent value-for-money experience, where we felt the relaxation and luxury of a vacation in every aspect. 🌴 Unbeatable Sea View, Cures Everything 🌴 We booked an ocean-view room, and we were absolutely stunned the moment we opened the door! A 180-degree panoramic sea view greeted us, with the azure ocean, white sandy beach, and distant city skyline all within sight. Whether it was watching the sunrise from the balcony in the morning or enjoying the sunset from the sofa in the evening, it was all as beautiful as a painting, instantly curing all our fatigue. The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding, and the bathtub was fantastic – soaking in a bath while looking at the sea view was simply the ultimate indulgence. 🏊♀️ Excellent Facilities, Fun to the Fullest 🏊♀️ The hotel's facilities are truly superb! My favorite was the iconic infinity pool, seamlessly blending with the sky and sea, making every photo a blockbuster. The children's pool and play area were also thoughtfully designed, so families with kids have nothing to worry about. Additionally, the gym and spa center were fully equipped, allowing us to stay active and relaxed even during our vacation. 💁 Attentive Service, Heartwarming 💁 The hotel's service definitely deserves special praise! From the warm welcome by the bellhop upon arrival to the efficient and professional check-in at the front desk, every staff member wore a smile and was proactive. A special thank you to the housekeeping auntie, who kept our room spotless every day and even folded towels into little animals, which was a delightful surprise. Any request we had was quickly addressed by calling the service center, which made us feel very at ease. 🍽️ Diverse Dining, A Feast for the Taste Buds 🍽️ The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, a mix of Chinese and Western options, plus local Hainan specialties, all tasting great. The restaurant environment was elegant, and sitting by the window enjoying a meal with a sea view was a wonderful way to start the day. We also tried the beachside buffet dinner; the seafood was fresh, the BBQ delicious, and accompanied by live band music, the atmosphere was simply perfect! 📍 Prime Location, Uniquely Advantageous 📍 The hotel is located on Phoenix Island, offering great privacy, yet it's just a bridge away from the city center. Getting around was very convenient, and it wasn't far to attractions like Tianya Haijiao and Luhuitou. Strolling on the island at night, with the sea breeze and sparkling lights, was incredibly romantic."

"Our stay at MGM Sanya was absolutely perfect! The hotel faces the beautiful blue sea and silver beach, offering stunning views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was especially great. There's a wide variety of food options, and the vinegared fermented dregs (Zao Po Cu) was incredibly delicious and plentiful. The staff were warm, attentive, and proactively helped us plan our itinerary. Even adults could completely relax. The location is convenient, making it easy to get to the beach and nearby attractions. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Sanya!"

"Pullman, an Accor hotel, always brings a touch of French romance. I've been to Sanya over 20 times, staying in Haitang Bay, Yalong Bay, and Sanya Bay. I've experienced everything from the high-end Edition to the budget-friendly Jinghai Holiday. Looking at Sanya Bay, I can confidently say Pullman is the best hotel there, bar none. Let's start with the positives: 1. The primary function of a hotel is comfort, cleanliness, and quiet, and Pullman excels. I thoroughly inspected the room and didn't find a single hair, which speaks volumes about the meticulous cleaning. They even provide buckwheat pillows, perfect for guests who prefer a lower pillow. 2. The service was impeccable. Our butler, VIVI, provided exceptional service throughout our stay, even upgrading our room. A big thumbs up! We originally booked a twin room, and VIVI upgraded us to a king-size executive suite – a huge thank you. She even gifted us a lovely teddy bear on our departure. 3. The facilities are comprehensive. The BBQ buffet dinner had a fantastic ambiance, and the Chinese restaurant offered both Cantonese and Hainanese cuisine. The spa prices were very reasonable, with no hidden costs. The game room also had a great selection of arcade machines. 4. Access to the beach is convenient via a road with an elevator, which is a significant improvement over the Howard Johnson, which only has stairs. 5. The executive lounge offers great views and a refined selection of food and drinks. Now, for areas that could be improved: 1. The color scheme of the living room sofa could be changed to a lighter shade. It felt a bit cold and didn't match the cozy feel of the bedroom. 2. The breakfast selection could benefit from more Chinese dishes. It felt a bit heavily skewed towards Western options. However, I understand this might be due to the large number of Russian guests – sometimes I felt like I was abroad just taking pictures!"

"Sanya, a city I visit every year. This time, I'm staying at the Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay for a relaxing, 'lie-flat' style vacation with the kids. Swimming, taking photos, and enjoying drinks – all without a hitch, and I'm well-fed. Abby's service was incredibly thoughtful. Enjoying the joy of a vacation, besides the coconut groves in the public areas, you absolutely must check out the fence leading to the beach. On a sunny day, it's incredible for photos! You can take casual yet beautiful pictures. Kid-friendly amenities: ✅ A 2850-square-meter kids' playground with ocean-themed facilities, including an octopus climbing structure, a shark climber, and various tree-like features – all adorable and perfect for a full day of fun. ✅ Daily themed activities for hotel guests. Sign up in advance for different free parent-child activities every day. They're exciting and fun; the kids absolutely love them. Nearby attractions: ✅ First Market: A short taxi ride away, full of local life. Experience the fun of being an islander. ✅ Dadonghai Square is about a ten-minute drive, and Luhuitou Park offers panoramic views of Sanya's night skyline. ✅ If time permits, families can also visit the Shan Hai Tian Scenic Area and Ocean Park, both not far away."

"Everything about this homestay was unbelievably perfect. The sea-view room was private and romantic, with an absolutely stunning environment! Waking up to the gentle sound of the tide in the morning, opening my eyes to the shimmering blue ocean—it was magical. The cleanliness was meticulous, the owner provided excellent service, and the facilities were comprehensive. They even helped us with our luggage. This isn't just a homestay; it's a collector of beautiful moments in life."

"Before coming, I kept seeing posts about a typhoon and constant rain, but since the flight and hotel were already booked, I just had to console myself that coastal weather is unpredictable and forecasts are often wrong. So I braced myself and came! Arrived in Sanya at noon on Nov 3rd, and encountered three rain showers, each lasting less than half an hour. Even though it was overcast with no sun, I was still satisfied 😂. Nov 4th started cloudy with only one short rain shower. I was with my child doing crafts at the hotel and didn't even notice how long it rained, probably less than half an hour. At 2 PM, we had a scheduled 'Binguo Travel Photography' session, which was a complimentary service from the hotel, and here's the highlight! The sky cleared up! We saw blue skies and white clouds, which was incredibly moving. The photos turned out surprisingly well. I initially thought I wouldn't pay extra if the photos weren't good, but... I ended up happily paying for them. Nov 5th was even better, mostly sunny. We took my grandparents and child to see the Guanyin of Nanshan. My grandparents prefer visiting attractions over staying at the hotel, so we made a last-minute trip to see it from a distance. We took a Didi taxi to 'Nanshan Aerial Photography Yueji Travel Photography,' walked across a stretch of beach, and reached the sea where we could photograph the Guanyin statue. On the way back to the hotel, we also stopped by Tianya Town, which felt like there was nothing there... I think staying at the hotel is the way to go in Sanya☺️. From Nov 3rd to 5th, we stayed at the Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay. The room was a bit old and dimly lit, but the parent-child activities were quite diverse. We booked activities via a mini-program at 7:30 PM the day before. My child had a blast, crossing the underground passage to the beach to take photos and collecting many small shells and conches. The afternoon 'Bubble Cruise' was absolutely my child's favorite. I tested the water and it felt quite cold, but the kids didn't want to get out. Overall, it was great value for money! Too bad we didn't have time to swim; maybe next time we'll try a different hotel and go for a swim."
