Whenever I visit Sanya, I always try out a few different hotels, and besides the beachfront resorts, the Four Seasons Haiting Hotel is always my top choice because it offers incredible value for money. This time, Mr. Li at the front desk left a lasting impression on me – he was incredibly warm, attentive, and had excellent emotional intelligence. He communicated with guests genuinely, without any perfunctory responses, and even my elderly family members expressed their sincere gratitude to him. What I noticed this trip was how few Chinese guests there were and how many Russians; during meal times, I honestly felt like I was abroad! The hotel is just as good as ever, the service remains excellent, the rooms are well-maintained, and the breakfast is great value."

"Specialist Jill was absolutely fantastic! She contacted us two days before check-in and was incredibly responsive, day or night, resolving any issues quickly and efficiently. The hotel itself also exceeded my expectations. I loved everything, from the water-themed sofas in the lobby to the huge indoor and outdoor play areas. I was especially happy with my executive lounge access this time. The best part was being able to enjoy the executive lounge while also getting a room on the top floor of the West Wing, which had an amazing view. The 'Shan Hai Jing' themed room was excellent too – honestly, everything was perfect. We even went tide pooling in the reef area below the hotel. This is definitely a hotel I'd highly recommend to my friends!"

"We arrived at noon and were proactively upgraded to a sea-view room. The view from the ninth floor was indeed stunning, and the room was spotlessly clean – much better than many older five-star hotels. After all, new is always better than old. My family all thought this place was great and offered excellent value for money. I'd recommend booking it for arrival or departure. There are plenty of photo opportunities by the pool, on the beach, and by the sea. The only downside is that you can still hear airplane noise in the room, but it didn't bother me as I'm a sound sleeper. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to avoid hotels near the airport. Also, the air conditioning vent is directly above the bed, so at night, you might want to set it to a lower fan speed or direct the airflow upwards. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options. I recommend the freshly made omelets and the yogurt drinks."

The whole room is smart-controlled; you just need to call out to "Xiao Du" if you need anything. Plus, there are free coffee and cold drinks, a laundry room, and a gym, all of which I highly recommend checking out. It was a really great experience overall!"

"This hotel, a collaboration between Neri&Hu Design and Research Office and BIAD, is inspired by the concept of an Eastern 'city.' It features a terracotta brick base supporting a series of staggered 'wooden houses,' with light and materials playfully interacting to create a true architectural masterpiece. We also had a hotel butler, Lily, who was available all day to answer our questions. The only minor drawback was that the chairs in the room were very heavy and made a lot of noise when dragged. I'd suggest adding silent felt pads to the chair legs to improve the overall stay experience."

"Good value for a short stay with friends Stayed for 4 nights with a friend in a twin room. The hotel is a bit aged, but everything you need as a tourist works just fine. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the beach entrance. There’s a pool, though we didn’t use it. Breakfast was surprisingly diverse: both Chinese and European dishes, plus salads and fruit. The staff are very friendly; some speak English, and a few even speak Russian. Nice tea offers. Downsides: the room layout is weird — strange choice of colors and furniture materials. The biggest issue: the air conditioner blows directly onto the beds, even though there’s space on the wall to redirect it properly. Overall, great for a budget-friendly, no-fuss trip."

"Facilities: Fully equipped! Hygiene: The floor was wet upon check-in, and the overall feel was a bit damp. However, after turning on the air conditioning and airing out the room, it became very clean with almost no smell! Environment: The environment was great. We were assigned to the 19th floor, which offered excellent views. The beach was right across the street, about a 5-minute walk away. Service: The highlight was the incredibly nice service! We received a free upgrade to a Deluxe Coconut Dream King Room. I stayed for two nights, and only found out on the second night that my room had been upgraded. Plus, I was able to stay in the upgraded room for the second night. The service was absolutely outstanding! This was my first time in Sanya, and I only stayed two nights at the Sanya Bay Jinghai Hotel, not visiting any other bays. Next time, I hope to experience the bathhouse and visit attractions like Luhuitou that I missed. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel!"
